Just received my second automated call in three days, each time asking for a different person (neither of which is me).  If I was that person I was to call a certain number, if not I was to call yet another number.  I see no reason for me to call a number to get off of their list, would rather just block them.  From the sounds of the call, this is some kind of scam.

Got a call asking for ****** ******, if you are not ***** ******* please do not continue to listen to this message, this is Henry Hoover from Harris and Harris, please call us back at 312-423-7484 if you are not the person for whom this message was intended, this is a collection call. Kiss my A$$ I ain't calling you back you low life thieving scumsucking bottom feeders!

My teenage daughter has been getting calls from this number for about 2 weeks.  When I called the number I learned it was from Harris and Harris.  My husband looked up the number and found this sight.  Do I call them and tell them to quit calling my daughter, or do I ignore them?  Any advice is helpful.  Thank you.

If they are a legitimate firm, then yes. And follow it up with a cease & desist letter (you can find one online that will fit the bill) and send it via certified US mail (keep a copy for yourself also)

They keep calling and i finally got some woman who asked to speak with my father, who NEVER had this number and who passed away almost 2 years ago. When i told her he passed, she sounded annoyed and said goodbye.

They have called for three months asking for George to Michael , no can talk or understand good english told them to stop calling this number. Now just hang up and ignore the call. Love morning wake up calling too.

Called but nothing but silence.

Just received a call from this number, answered to hear an automated voice identify themselves as Henry Hoover. They asked that if I was me, to please call them back at same number, and if I was not and wished to stop receiving this call, to call a different number. I hung up.

Asked for my wife, by name.  Said it was an important business matter but would give no other detail  Asked me to have her call back and ask for Miss Kelly.  If I call back, could it reroute my call to some overpriced, pay by the minute number?

I too, have been getting calls from this number. It's been going on for about three months now. All automated, and at different times. Even on Sunday! I'm flip-in tired of this. I've blocked the # put phone will ring once before blocking it.

They call my work and let automated recording from HENRY HOOVER trying to collect debt. The number he's with 855-519-4476 traces back to company Harris and Harris.
I am fed up with scammers. WISH THEY WOULD TAKE ME COURT

"Henry Hoover" with Harris & Harris call and leave an automated message stating if I am so and so, please call them back about an important business matter, if I am not so and so, please call a different number to get my number removed. I listened to the entire message,...there will now be a 3 second pause, if you are not so and so, please hang up, if you are so and so, please continue to listen.....Blah, blah, blah! Scam!

I keep getting calls from this number. All they ever do is leave the phone number. I screen all calls so don't answer it to begin with and their recorded message stars before my voice mail does so all I ever get is the last 7 digits of the number. Been getting these calls for months now, several times a day. I am on the Do No Call list.

855-519-4476 keeps calling my CELL and I've blocked it. Never leaves message, no idea what it's regarding, gives no information. I'm on the do not call list and this STILL comes through. Trying to find who to report them to.

They are calling me daily.   I believe it is a debt collection company for one of the utility companies.  But yes it is from Harris & Harris.....

I called this number back and advised them that I have no outstanding debt and have no idea why they are calling and they were to stop immediately.  She asked if I was located in a certain city and I advised her that I was not and she advised she would remove our number from their list.  She was again reminded to never call our home again!
I did not call from the number where the call was received.  She did not ask for SS # or any other information other than the phone number.
