I just dealt with these people.  The name they gave me was Capital Litigation Services.  They got to the point where they would call and my phone would show "Unknown Number."  Then a lady, the name given Laura, let a voicemail to call her at this number.  They preceded to tell me that I was being sued for $700 and prosecuted for felony defrauding a financial institution.  First of all, it's illegal for these people to threaten someone over the phone like that.  Never give them any information or confirm anything.  Tell them if they've received order of a debt that you would like hard proof and have them mail documents to your home.  Tell them that you will not accept any communication through E-Mail.  Get as much information as possible from the person you speak with.  Then after you're done, contact your state's Attorney General and file a formal complaint so these people will be caught.  They have American accents, but this firm is out of Dubai (United Arabs).  A lot of payday scams are coming from there, according to my AG office.

i just got called and i thought it was a scam then about 3 hours later the sheriff came to my door about a court summons for bad check. these people are not scamming because i did owe it but didnt think anyone would come after me and they did. i would suggest to take them seriously and if you know you owe it then pay it and be done.
