- A| 3 repliesStudent loan scam; number sent in an email from a “Hotmail.com” address
- Caller: Rosena Northcraft
- Amber| 2 repliesThe first representative that I spoke to got really upset when I asked 3 times what the name of his company that he was calling from. He stated he was with the department of education with the government and said it as though I was stupid and said you know act have a good day and hung up. I called back and spoke to a lady and told her what happened. I said if this is how business is conducted with them then they could remove me from email and calling list. She said that was a rude assumption because they are not the same person and she hung up on me as well. Can’t help but to feel as though this is a scam.

- myep phishing email. dont know how they got my previous address or name, but the dept of education recently sent out a letter by mail (a legit one) to loan holders telling them about the loan program options so i think they are trying to get people to fall for their scam for identity theft. The email is very poorly written...lol...cant even write a proper paragraph! and from Yahoo...lol...never identified the company or his position. too unprofessional. and they would never contact someone that way. I'm reporting to local district attorney. Definitely a scam
