Said they were a law firm and if we didn't send them money they would serve us and put a lean on everything we owned. We don't owe anyone anything, there for I wanted to check out who this was. The name of the law firm and their number can not be found on Google. I have to believe its a scam.

I had a call like this earlier this year and did a lot of research, in the end speaking with the attorney generals office, they said they cannot collect on something that is not on your credit record and the court house said that papers have to be filed in court before anyone is served, so if you search your court house records with your name or call them to find out and not there, its fake. A guy names David Cooper left a message just today about a process server and I was also told by a lawyer and court house, a process server will not call you before they serve you, even if they don't know where you are. Don't pay anything or give them any info. Request in writing about the supposed debt you owe, that is your right and the law. They have 30 days to get it to you. You can also request a credit collector to stop calling and if they do not, you can sue them.

Serious debt scammers.  Ignore and block their calls.

Just because someone on the phone calling you says you owe a debt does not mean you actually owe it.

If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:

1.    Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2.     Demand a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.
3.    Do not pay  the collection agent or anyone else a  dime until the debt is validated

Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply ignore them and block their calls.

If they are bothering you, report them:

If they continue to bother you,  and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.
You have to get tuff with these people because,  being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking),  the only thing they understand

They have been calling my cell, which I have now blocked, and they are now calling my place of employment and my mothers home. My credit report says I owe nothing and my credit is pretty much spotless, with payments being made on time every time. I'm being harassed and it's upsetting my mother. I'm getting very angry, to say the least.

These piece of [***] called my cell phone and were inquiring about a debt my mom owed supposedly from over 9  yrs which sounds [***] as [***] well any how I kept callin then back because they kept trying to get tuff with my mom and I said meet me up to fight I called out the bluff and they bitched up saying they were gonna call the police and report me hahaha they are a bunch of [***] I'll tell you that [***] well anyways just ignore them if a court place doesn't give you papers to show up to court then its all debt collected intimidation hahahah

Got a call from a private number telling me to call this number. They gave me a case number but I couldn't find it in the court records. Thanks to the comments on this page I know it's a scam now.

I got a call from a private number also.They also said to call this 1-855-561-0855.Talked to this guy named Keith Reed and i asked him to send all info in writing to me.He said that they sent a letter in the mail on March 6,2017.Of course we have'nt received no letter from them.Said that they we gonna send out a summons in the mail.we shall see what they send!!!!

I received a call from this number 1-855-561-0855.  They told me they were with Hagle law offices and threatening to serve me and take me to court.  I asked the city/state they were loated and he said LA, CA.  I disconnected the call and looked up Hagle law offices.  There is a Law office by this name in LA however they have a different number and when I called they said they have been getting many calls saying that a scammer is using their offices name to try and collect debt.  This absolutely is a scam and when I got confrontational with the guy his "English" accent faded very quickly to a middle eastern man swearing at me and threatening me.  THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!  thanks to all who wrote on here.  Saved me a lot of headache.

Left a message claiming they were serving legal documents about a lawsuit - very ominous sounding. Didn't use my name or the name of my company...

Got a call from this number at my workplace asking for my boss.  The woman on the other end said that someone had "filed a complaint against [my boss' name]" and that someone was coming to our workplace to serve papers on him.  She said she was calling to ask if he wanted the person serving the papers to be "re-routed" to his home.  Got their number (she also gave me a case number)  and gave it to my boss a little latter.  Luckily, I looked up the phone number and found this before he decided to call them back.

I got a blocked call stating that I needed to call 855-561-0855 and talk to the litigation office or they were going to send out a bench warrant for our arrest.I called because I had no idea and I was put on hold for 15 minutes and then it just went blank.

I just received a phone call from a female referring me to this number with a case number. So I called it and a man saying he worked out of California law firm. And i owed depth from 2009. He threatened me he would put a lean on everything I owned. Which I told him if u see my credit I DNT owe depth. I said I'll be waiting for court papers. I was so pissed off I hung up on him.

Got a call this morning from caller ID "Unavailable". The female caller identified herself as Vanessa from Process Service Dispatch. She asked for me (knew my name) and sounding very convincing and official she informed me that there is a complaint filed against me and I haven't responded to summons to appear that was mailed to me. She couldn't share any other information siting the fact that my case is sealed for privacy protection. She wanted to give me a case number and a number to call for more information. That's when I began to suspect fraud, so I asked for her superior and she gave me this info Ben Rogers 855 561 0855. She said this is also the number to call for more information on my case and to prevent further consequences of not responding to the complaint. She gave me my case number and wishes me good luck. Fortunately I know how the legal process works and that is not it. On top of that 800notes.com is where I go to check all suspicious phone numbers. This is a scam.

Called me over and over so I payed then 800 dollars then the next morning found out by the bank this is a scam got my money back then they call again started threatening me and harassing me then I called them back with my attorney and they didn't answer my phone calls and transferred me to some hotel when I unblock the number did they answered and knew who exactly I was I reported this to the police and all of the authorities

No there liers I have reported they too all the proper authorities

It's a big scam. Also had the same call. Just deleted the message.
