Claims to be an officer of local parish scam call

Josh Stevens claims to be compliance officer for the state threatening legal action and wanting to know my home address and place of employment. They also called and left the same message on my father's phone looking for me. This is a complete scam and they are using scare tactics to get to people!

Do you have an address for this company? they just called me and threatened me and I gave them my info. but now they won't give me anything letting me know there info.

Looks like CFS has another set of numbers.  I receive a similar call to the ones on here from a Ryan Newman, compliance officer with the state (did not say which state).  Number was unknown on caller id, but he said to call back 1-866-249-5473, extension 314.  When that number and extension is call it goes to the voicemail of Josh Stevens.  I have filed a complaint with the state's attorney general, and uploaded the voice message for them as well.  I am sure that I have heard from these people before in the past, but can't remember how long ago it was.  Have not received anything in the mail about what this may be about so I am sure it is probably a scam.

Ryan Newman shares part time duties as a compliance officer when NASCAR is not in season. Watch what happens when there's no kind of an answer on your line. Can't leave bogus threats without one and these guys get disgusted. Refrain from returning calls to mystery numbers, you're asking for trouble doing that.
