Got a call from Indian accented individual claiming to be Microsoft partner located in Delaware.  Wanted to fix error report problems and tried to have me log on to a non-microsoft web side so they could get control of computer to "fix" the problem.  Didn't trust him so cut the call short.

I'm surprised that they are back at it.  I read where a whole bunch of them were recently busted for this scam in India or pakistan or someplace like that.  I guess they paid their 100 Rupee fine and put the ole boiler room back in operation down the street.

Got a call from him. Claimed to not be exactly Microsoft, but did not leave any company name. Probably not legitimate.

I just got a call from this same guy this morning and he listed off my name and my address which was unnerving. He also stated that he was a subcontractor of Microsoft and that I had to follow his instructions because someone had hacked my IP address and with online banking and the fact that it's the holidays I had to comply right away. I did not trust him either and was given the same number to contact him for further "instructions" at 1-855-573-7130 xt. 126 and he said his name was David Lou - very heavy Indian accent. When I did *69 after the call - the number came up as 718-783-8997. It's unsettling to get a call like this but it feels like total [***] and feels fraudulant.

Just got a call from a woman, heavy Indian accent...lots of background noise. Claiming to be from the US Federal Government....didn't let her get very far, told that she was really calling from the US Federal government there would a better phone connection and no background noise, told her it's a scam they are harrassing me, course hung up before I could finish....so sick of these scammy calls!

This number appeared after installing a program: "Drivers For Free" which asked for registration details and then told me to call this number for a registration key.  NOPE.
