Got a txt from foqhiuly@msn.com. stating "you placed 5th in our cruise for 2 raffle. Call 855-595-1400." Sent "Stop!" Got back the exact same txt within seconds. Gonna try reporting to Verizon as SPAM and see what they say.

Got a text message from "uwmnnijmnpdrep@msn.com"  WTF is this?  Then the messages reads "Your # was selected for our Cruise for Two Giveaway! Call 855-595-1400"

I called and had a very good time with the Jacka** who answered.

The DNC is a joke. I have 3 phone numbers on that list and it does no good.  I have 5 pages of calls that I have got on my home phone and cell.

I got a text saying "You were selected as our Cruise for Two Giveaway Winner" from upsja@hotmail.com

Strange that they have so many throw-away email accounts with this number.  Wouldn't one suffice even for such an obvious scam as this?

These people are sms messaging/texting with disposable/hacked/bogus email accounts and leaving no callback number except for the one mentioned the message, and from what I can tell, isn't this caller ID spoofing, which is illegal, right?

I would recommend not replying to them in any way shape or form. Report this to officials and your carrier.

Mine came from a totally different email address, so they're not using just one address, they're using many. But it still said that I won a cruise for two and to call the number, which I didn't.

If you have a call blocker app, you might be able to block this type of contact, although if the callback # is an email address, like in this situation, I'm not sure if that would work.

If we work together and report these messages, maybe we can nail these scumbags and put a stop to their little scam.

I also got this message  (which was also from a different e-mail address but from MSN.COM), and it said I also placed 2ND in this "raffle". Now, if two separate people got the SAME message that they BOTH placed 2ND then isn't there something wrong with this picture? I would recommend not worrying about this at all. Just delete the message. This is spam. I made the mistake of actually calling back this number (855-595-1400), and the only thing I got out of it was an automated voice saying "Goodbye". It took about 7 seconds and hung up on me. Then this morning I got a phone call to do some kind of random survey and will probably recieve more phone calls soon from advertisers and surveys to try and get me to buy something. Yes, I too was was kind of excited and curious to find out was this was until I found out for myself. Sorry, but there are only two things to do with that message. Report it, the phone number, and the random e--mail address you recieved it from to the proper channels OR just ignore it, don't respond in any way at all, and delete it.  I hope this helps all you curious "prize winners".

Just received a text from dczkbyqw@ymail.com stating:
Your entry placed 3rd in our pool. Claim your Cruise for Two by calling 855-595-1400.

This is a total and obvious scam because I have never registered for a cruise nor do I care to. I travel by plane as they are more efficient and quicker. Did not and will not call this number.

I got a message saying "Your entry placed 2nd in our pool. Claim your Cruise for Two by calling 8555951400." I called for the heck of it and a guy answered saying how I won by doing some type of questionnaire thing and then he transferred my call to a "certified Caribbean Cruise" woman and she started talking for a few minutes and then the call dropped. Weird.

Yup, I got a text from nmigmhgmt@gmail.com regarding the cruise for two. Really, I thought it was a collection agency phishing just so I'd call back. Well, I did call back. BUT..I hung up because I didn't want their caller ID ID'ing me and calling me back again.

I also got another call a few months back from someone asking "Is a Betty there?" I knew it was bunk from jump, so I dipped.
