got a call from 800-275-2273 was a recording saying they were from Apple and that my Apple devices have been compromised and that I was not to use them for financial transactions.  Said I need to hit the #1 to speak to an Apple representative or call 855-603-0199.  I did not do either

They’ve called 3x today claiming to be Apple and not to use my Apple devices. Yet they called me on Apple device. It’s spam I assume.

I got the same message from Apple

I received a call from 855-603-0199.  This was the third time in 2 days.  I suspect a phishing expedition.
The recorded female voice says its from AppleCare, my Apple ID login is showing hacking activity, I should not use any of my Apple devices until I call them back and speak with a technician.
I DON'T THINK SO.

Claimed from apple....  we do not have apple products.  Scam

I received the same call and I do not have an iPhone.

Same. “Apple” calling me telling me not to use my phone for any financial transactions until I call them back. I’m assuming spam. I’m guessing any legit contact Apple would try to make in the event of fraud would be via my backup email address I’ve provided them with.

Got a phone call from 800-275-2273 which is apple care.  It was a recording telling me that my Apple ID had been compromised and to press 1 to speak with someone or to call them back at 855-603-0199.  I called apple care at 800-275-2273 and verified that this is a phishing scam.  Don't call the 855 number.

Voicemail that my Apple account has had suspicious activity. Said to call them back. Nope!

Do not speak to anyone if you get a call from applecare telling you to call back thier # (currently 800-603-0199.) . This is spam.  I spoke to a rep and he actually cursed me out on the phone, which an apple rep would never do!

Received 4 calls so far in the past 2 days. All messages left were automated and only partially recorded so the name of the company was not apparent, however, the remaining message stated the account was negative with a request to call back at 855-603-0199. Calling back just lead to a busy signal each time. Calling the original 800-275-2273 number the call derived from said it was Apple.

Received 4 calls from "Apple" stating my account has been compromised. They have left 2 messages to call 855-603-0199. I blocked them. This site confirms it is a scam!

Spam.  The caller ID states Apple support 800-275-2273.  Spoofing.

I just got the very same call.  Didn't respond.

This is a SCAM. For one thing, if it was from apple, the recorded message would have better grammar. They are spoofing the AppleCare number. There are articles about it all over the internet.
I got the same call from (800) 275-2273 with the message “Support representative refrain using any financial activity on your devices. In order to speak with an Apple support representative right now please press one or else call us back on our toll-free number a 1-855603-0199. I retreat it’s 1-855-603-0199 thank you.”

I had the same message about my apple devices being compromised with a call back number of 855-689-6849. I actually spoke to one of the "customer service representatives" and once I told them I had already changed my password and apple ID they hung up immediately. Total scam

Same happened to me I spoke with “representative” when he asked if I was near a computer to log in I said no I was driving he hung up so definitely scam don’t bother
