Received a computer voice call from "Bellco Credit Union" including my name. Went something like this:
"Hello, this is Bellco Credit Union, calling for <my first and last name>, with an important message regarding your account. Please call Bellco Credit Union as soon as possible at 855-603-1050. Thank you."
I do in fact have a consumer lease through this bank, which I'm sure is a public record since in my state the Leinholder or Leasing Company is listed on the Auto Registration.
Instead of calling back on that number, which I was unable to verify, I called back using the phone number listed in the Bellco Credit Union mobile application. I spoke to a representative who made sure everything was OK with my two accounts, and he assured me that the call I received was NOT from Bellco.
This is likely a scammer trying to steal identity and/or money. DO NOT TRUST CALLS FROM THIS PHONE NUMBER!

Fake call from Belloc.

I called the number back. And they answered wanting my social security number and account number. I was told long ago from Bellco they will never call asking for that info. They send out letters or emails. When u call u enter in that info before an operator gets on the line.

Received calls on Saturday, 3 Oct 2020 and Monday, 5 Oct 2020.  Let the number go into voice mail which was Bellco legit 800#, but I was not expecting a phone call from them.  Voice mail from a live person went like this,

Yes, good morning.  Trying to get in touch with <first name, last name>.  If you could please ask <first name> to return the call at Bellco Federal Credit Union.  The phone number you can reach us at is 855-604-1050.  Again, that's 855-603-1050.  Thank you.

Have accounts with Bellco.  However, when calling Bellco directly since I do not recognize this call back number, no one in any of their departments related to my accounts could find a reason for this call.

Suspected scam call as a result.  When in doubt from a "possible known source", call the non-800 and local number instead to see what your financial institution is requesting of you on your terms.

I received a voicemail Oct 8th to call Bellco 855-603-1050, with no name or what it was in regards to.  The call came in on a different number 800-628-7070, which appears to be 'Beth Page FCU' in NY.
I called Bellco's 800 number and confirmed they were not needing any information from me.

I received the same message as another individual that it was Bellco trying to reach me regarding an important matter. They used my full name and gave the 855 number to call back. I thought it was odd because they always seem to have either an 800 number, or a local area code.  I couldn't find any contact info on their website with this prefix.

Received robo calls June 23, 27, 30th all at 8:01am, all saying same thing,  Text to speech message saying to call Bellco right away.  I have an account with them but will not call the number.  I am calling Bellco because I want to know if there was some data breech.  seems like everyone reporting on this site has some affiliation/account with Bellco.

I called this number and it went to a woman form Bellco stating that I had missed my December loan payment. I said "Thank you, Ill take care of it on the app." and Hung up. I had, in fact, missed the payment. I rely on websites like this to verify numbers. If you all are going to comment, ensure you are posting accurate information here.

So all the other posters in this thread are wrong and only you are right? Yeah, sorry, the odds are not in your favor.

Left me a voicemail saying they were Bellco and to call the number back. I googled the number first and found this page, then called Bellco directly to make sure it was fake. Definitely a scammer.
