Called my on my cell phone.  Didn't leave a message.  Not sure who or what it is or if it's a scam number.

i got a call from this number as well and when i called them back they were telling me that there was an order for me to go to court for a supposed payday loan that was taken out and a bad check....first of all, i hardly write any checks and the payday loans that i have done have all been paid off.....this is not the first time that i have received a call like this....it seems to happen around this time of the yr when it is almost tax time.....its complete [***]!!

I've received such calls unwanted on my two cell phones and home phone for the past ten years. During this time all my numbers have been registered on the FTC Do Not Call Registry and have been reported to them via their web site. If anyone has ever filed an on line complaint you can see how stupid the questions are. They ask that we provided the name of the company who has called. How would I know that for sure since they are calling from a bogus number that's been disconnected or does not exist. They ask if you've told the company to stop calling. How in the world could anyone do this since most of the calls are recorded messages, bot calls or hang up calls. And even if you were to "play along" and op to speak with an operator the minute you start asking legitimate questions about the source of the call they will hang up and place your number on another list to receive many more unwanted calls. I also sense that some of the overseas "call centers" and collecting data from US citizens for other reasons, yet the "FTC" and not Homeland Security or the DOJ are investigating. Why? I've asked the FTC for feedback as to what if any action they have taken or plan to take but they never respond. The only response from them is when I filed a FOIA request for all the previous complaints I've filed with them and in some cases they will charge you the victim a fee to retrieve your own information.  According to the FTC web site they have sued some violators and collected large fines that only go to back to the government and NOT the victims. I wonder what the budget is for the office that handles the Do Not Call Registry?  I would urge all victims to contact your congressional leaders to seek compensation for victims and improve the way the FTC does business and treats victims. If the government is unwilling to compensate victims then why have a law on the books and pay a bunch of FTC workers to waist their time. It seems to be a good thing for the FTC to allow such unwanted calls to continue that in turn generates more victims and complaints for keeping FTC workers employed. A second option for the government to help victims would be to release the information to the victims of companies who have called their number in violation of the law so the victim can then take civil action against the company. Why won't the FTC help a victims of a law they helped create?

I received a call-- a message from one Morgan Bush, they said they had "important paperwork" to deliver.  ACTUALLY Morgan had called my parent's number whom I have not lived with since 1997.

This number called my elderly ill mother and had her all upset about an online loan she had supposedly taken out then said they were pressing charges for a bad check? Lol then the lady "Holly Evans" attempted to call my brother and tell him my mom's info was being processed and she would have a warrant for her arrest. I called the number and told them to call my attorney and they lady was stuttering all over herself kept placing me hold and couldn't answer any of my questions directly at all. She ended up saying good luck to your mom and hanging up on me lol! Pathetic! They used the names ubs litigation, alpine loans and then even attempted to say my mom took the loan from her bank! My mom contacted her bank and they had no clue what she was talking about. She thought maybe she did and forgot since they're calling about a 5 yr old debt!

Had the same thing happen to me and my mother today as (nameless) did.  Crap about check fraud and taking out a loan.  Bunch of bs.  Better hope the law catches them before me.

My attorney called them from his blocked #.  They would not provide any information.  They immediately asked where I was, my attorney advised no information unless they could provide info.  She said no information unless he would tell her where I was!   I have had so many calls like this and they call my employer also.  It is a scam.  I have reported numerous times but the only thing I can do is block the numbers.

same thing happened to me something need to be done about tis that [***] can hurt people money and there life we need to come together and take care of this situation ASAP

They called me and threatened to serve me papers,subpoenaed  me to court and that a warrant would go out for my arrest if i did not make a payment with them. I almost fell for it!! But something told me to seek legal advice first, before giving my debit card number. I am glad i did!! My lawyer told me they are a scam company and to block their number. This damm freaking company harassed me for 1 week causing me  emotional distress. Do not be the next victim!
