- JDClaim they will set you up with special rates for conference housing. Not sure how they are skimming phone numbers but when looking for rooms for actual conferences they begin calling....many, many times. Its a scam don't fall for it
- Caller: Exhibitor Conference Housing
- Call type: Prank
- REB| 1 replyThey look at the list of exhibitors from the previous year and call pretending to be the housing vendor for the society or association that is conducting the meeting. They are not legitimate and you are very likely not to have rooms if you use these people. I have told them many times not to call again and they claim they have never called me but that is not true. The person yesterday actually recognized me when I blasted the company she was calling from for being frauds. They are based in Henderson, NV and have been a problem for years. They are trying to sell housing for the AAAAI meeting in San Antonio and call me wanting to book my hotel space since I am "registered to attend" the meeting. We are not registered and are not sure we will be attending at this time. Just a scam they have been carrying out for years. First called me at least 8 or 9 years ago.
- Caller: Convention Housing Services

- REB replies to REBI also just reported them to the person that is responsible for the meetings group at the association that is conducting the meeting. I know for a fact Convention Housing Services is not the approved vendor for this meeting.
- KatCalled about "The trade show in Vegas your company is attending in June" and wanted to speak to the person in charge of that. Yeah...we're not going to any trade show/convention.

- Tony B.I get a LOT of those calls...my company exhibits at 35 events each year in the health care industry. Since I take ALL of my calls, I simply decline their offer and hang-up. Occasionally, if my Caller ID says that they're calling from the Las Vegas area, I give them the phone number to GES, (the GES national call center is located in Las Vegas), and suggest that the telemarketer might enjoy inside sales in the trade show industry for a bigger, slightly more reputable company that's also located in their neighborhood.

- SteveI just received a phone call form 1-855-606-1325 claiming to be able to save me money on my stay at my show next month in LA. They had the pricing information on my rate that was offered by show to us and claimed to save me $ 10 dollars a night compared to the show rate I have in place. I think this is a scam because, I called the hotel and they new nothing of the sort of any rating being at that price and said not to trust them.

- Vendor ExhibitorReceived call from caller ID # 855-606-1325.
They left message stating to return call to Kay Jackson 702-979-2897 regarding an upcoming tradeshow in Orlando, FL my company is attending soon.
FYI: I did receive an email from the Tradeshow Event Planner stating they have received numerous complaints about a company whom is cold calling all the registered exhibitors.

- BMIWoman identifying herself as Kate Jackson tried very hard to give the impression she was with the organization that holds one of the trade shows we attend. But, something wasn't adding up. Broken English, mispronounced the name of the organization several times, sounded like a call center in background. Looked up the # (702) 979-2897 and it is for Convention Housing Services. Annoying telemarketing scam!

- AngryReceived a blocked call from this number today claiming to be with City Wide and that they are proceding with a claim against me if I do not call back by end of day. I have received numerous calls/messages over the past week from identified individuals leaving various call back numbers regarding a claim against me. It's getting really old and annoying.
