- Rui| 7 repliesSome sort of firm leaving a message saying, "There is a court summons attached to this name and social for [something I couldn't make out] that you need to call about at [number] within 72 hours so we can help you with this matter." Didn't leave a company name, just a call back number. Didn't say what county court either, so you know it's a scam! I don't owe any debts whatsoever.
- RjJust got a call with same message googled number can not find anything on it seems like a scam
- CS"There is a court summons attached to this name and social security number for your court case with docket that you need to call about within 72 hours so we can help you with this matter and for you to resolve your case with the plaintiff." Also claimed that the summons to court was coming within 72 hours to me as well. Female never identified herself or the company to which she claimed to be representing. That is not how court cases and dockets work! And I know for a fact I owe nothing to anyone nor do I have any cases or pending judgements against me from anyone! Beware and do not fall for such things!
- MADJust received a call for this number and i am not sure why they think they call someone and leave that kind of number and not expect for people to do a search before they call them back. I am like the rest of you - i don't owe anything and check my credit regularly and got pulled over for a speeding ticket a couple of months ago and nothing was said to me about anything legal pending. I am sooooo f&&&&&&ing tried of the sorry low life people they have nothing to do but steal money from hard honest working people and they are sooooo f&&&&&&&ing sorry that they can't get out and work for a living like the rest of us. I pray that something really bad happens to these kinds of people.
- Johnsame message.. scam. reporting them to my corp attorney and we will report them to the FTC
- LMAO"Hi this is Vanessa Richards with Nationwide Process Servers. I have a court summons attached to your name and social. We have you on the schedule to be served with the certified notice of intent for your direct appearance in the district court in the next 72-hours. You may contact the filing party for details surrounding this matter or to possibly resolve the complaint voluntarily with the plaintiff to avoid legal proceedings. The filing parties number is 1-855-607-1359." Not mentioned: my name, social security number, county or state, or plaintiff. Ms. Richards sounded bored off her butt and you could tell she was reading from a script, no inflection, no intonation. Of course when they add inflection and intonation it comes off as sounding just as hokey. Reporting them to my attorney and filed a report with the FTC. It's nice that they leave such long messages on voice mail, the FTC likes that kind of proof. I also like the "you're going to be served in the next 72-hours" because it basically just blows their entire wad... 72-hours later when nothing has happened, what are they going to do? Call you back and threaten you some more? Nope, you'll just go back into the endless loop of their system and can expect to get another threat in a couple of weeks or months. It isn't the first time I have heard from Nationwide Process Servers and it isn't a valid debt. NOBODY who calls and leaves messages like this are representing any sort of valid debt. Don't respond, DO call your attorney (there are many free out there who will represent you, these fake companies have to pay fines for this behaviour), DO file with the FTC. And remember this is a THREAT against you and disclosure of false information to whoever is on the other end of their message and both are illegal.

- WatchmanJust got the same message, word for word. LMAO - that's hilarious! That's exactly how she sounded on my voice mail too. Isn't it funny too how she's trying to pretend to be the process service company, but tells you that you can call the filing party and it's her number. How stupid do they think people are. Well, never mind. There are enough out there that these scumbags make a living doing this or they wouldn't be in business.
I will be filing with the FTC. I may talk to my attorney too and see if I can get some money out of this. Ha Ha!!!!!- Caller: Nationwide Process Serviers

- tired of this crap| 1 replygot a call from 855-607-1359 on July 14 and today. I hung up on the recording both times. I owe no-one! I just wish these [***] would fall off the face of the earth! Says all the same stuff as the above posts. I don't know how they get my number! they also never identify themselves or give any identifying info about me. I made the mistake once along time ago of calling then back before I checked out the number. maybe that's why they call occasionally.
- Call type: Debt collector
- wthI just got the same call but they were trying to find my brother and im like how the hell yall even get my number. This isn't his number. They said hes facing check fraud and alot of other stuff and he has 72 hours to get ahold of us.

- CNJust got a call and they had my information saying I owed money to Nations Cash Online for a payday loan I never took
They could not give me the name of the payday loan company and said I would receive a summence and my drivers license would be invalid for six months. The e-mailed me the information to make the settlement with no letter head, name of firm or address. I am treating this as a scam.- Caller: Atty's Freeman & Miller

Here's the thing about process servers: they don't call you, they just show up at your doorstep and serve you. You're not supposed to know they're coming, so you know it's not legit. Also "Vanessa" sounds so bored and her voice is kind of scratchy--I wonder how many scam calls she's made today?
Also they're the "process server" but apparently they're also the filing party? At least try to sound legit!- Caller: Nationwide Process Servers

- Rui replies to tired of this crapI've never answered their calls or called them back and they still call me every couple of months. I wouldn't let it get to you, your name is on a list is all.
- PMI talked back at her while she was still talking. Also, I'm at work. So how could a social be attached. I find these calls to be funny. I even got a call from a man stating there was a warrant for my arrest and I needed to pay a fine. So I asked him if he wanted me to give him my address. He just laughed and hung up.
