Like others caller very quickly said Comcast, but wanted to sell solar system and would not stop talking. I hung up and blocked this number. I do not respond to any telemarketing calls. If I want something I’ll call them, suggest everyone else do the same to avoid scams or someone recording your voice and using it for some other purpose.

I contacted xfinity/Comcast and they confirmed they are not involved with solar panels etc.

I think this is the advanced probe with follow scam calls “a warrant is out for your arrest so send us Apple gift cards”.... *sigh*

Comcast and Sunrun want to sell solar panels.

Received several calls yesterday and two calls this morning before 9:30am. I finally called the number and found a computer voice response system informing they were a third with Xfinity.com  wanting to update and present news services. I called Xfinity to complain and verified  that this number was not at affiliated with comcast /xfinity. SCAM!   Xfinity / comcast fraud unit was already aware that a entity had their customer base phone numbers and campaigning to scam!

Claims they are with comcast and offering new lower packages if i sign up for some sort of electric company that will lower my electric bill and a 600.00 visa gift card. ummmmmm nope..  They are not with comcast.  I've called comcast about this before and they are some sort of contracted people but not with comcast.  They will screw your bill up.  IF you dont initiate a call to comcast, then the caller on the other end is a phoney.

but people here might have been born at night, just not last night. former? no reason for you to look the number up. scammer!!!!!!

Said they were Global Telesourcing representing COMCAST wanting to sell me COMCAST solar. I contacted Xfinity and was told they are not in the solar business. They will report this to their security division..

Says they are from Comcast/Xfinity.  I said, I just changed my service to what I want and don't need anything else.  Oh no - this is a special offer that isn't about your cable service.  I said if it's not about my Comcast service, I don't want to know about it.  If you are from Comcast, talk to me about Comcast.  If you are from somewhere else, identify yourself as such.

Anonymous caller, displaying (only) the  number 855-614-0402,
but hiding the name of the company on whose behalf the call was made.

As I understood, the caller pretended to have something to do with Comcast,
the cable television company, but was not selling television channels!

8 calls in day 1, 8 more calls a week later call blocker is the best.

Received a call from this number which I rejected.  The caller I.D. read:
