Postcard (salmon-colored) regarding warranty expiring on home appliances.  Listed credit union we have used for home equity loan.  Called credit union.  No connection.  We never had warranty.  Did not call #.

these s-o-bs (AWG) sent me a postcard with my mortgage info "giving me notice" my home warranty was about to expire or had already expired.  i have a reverse mortgage and do not have a home warranty.  i am 75 years old and this really upset me because i thought i was in trouble with my mortgage company.  i called my mortgage company and found out this is just unethical soliciting. something should be done about these crooks trying to scare home owners into calling them.

received a postcard, told to call before home warrenty runs out. Never heard of them and didn't call. Suspicious, probably a scammer.

i received a pink postcard from "AWG Home Warranty Division", with this phone number on it.  here is a sample of some of the text on the card:

"this letter is to inform you that the property's warranty, at 123 Fake Street  Anywhere, USA 12345, secured by UNNAMED INC, may be getting ready to expire or may have already expired."

"please call 1-855-634-0483 today."

at the very bottom, in very small italic print, is the following:

"not all consumers have previous coverage.  we are not affiliated with your current mortgage holder."

the postcard was not even addressed to the actual owner of the home.  the person it was addressed to has not lived here in almost 10 years, and they were never the owner of the home at any point in time either.  there is no "warranty" for the property.  this postcard is just junk mail presented in a way to scare or confuse people into buying a home warranty from AWG.

Received the same salmon colored  postcard today It states our banks name and said the warranty on our property had expired. They even listed a property code. Came from AWG 1-855-634-0483.  Definitely a scam.

Yes- they wanted me to sign up right away before the call ended. They said I would get a senior discount.

Just another pink scam postcard from AWG Home Warranty Division. Warned us that our Non-Existant Home Warranty had expired or was going to do so soon. Never had or wanted one.
Reported to my lender's fraud department. Maybe the can get something done about these sleezeballs.

5-8-18 recvd this card today with 855-634-0483 as current phone number.  My card also states the name of the mortgage holder company.  I have been in my house since 1979 & have NEVER had a home warranty with anyone.  THIS IS A SCAM.  Have notified my credit union about this card & will discuss this with them when they do the call back-----I believe that your local COUNTY property tax office is releasing this information without my consent-check your local office!!!!
I am on a do not mail list, have removed myself from all mailings with all credit reporting agencies- they are not to put my name out for any type of business--only credit checks can be done when I make a job change or want to purchase another home or new car.   I will contact my local BBB to find out if there is a federal govmnt group that would handle this scam--I am in Omaha NE
