Called and left message on work and cell phone---said failure to comply could end up with a summons and they also said they would contact Human Resources and my immediate supervisor to complete process.  Said they were calling in regards to Erie County Court but gave 855 number??  Can anybody help?

This is a scam attempt.  If you call that number they will make some claim that you are responsible for an alleged debt,  or check fraud or something stupid,  and threaten you with arrest,  probably jail time,  all to scare the crap out of you and set you up for the scam.   Then they will make a Godfather type offer to settle this without going to court by simply paying them xxxx amount of dollars.   This scam is really getting old and long in the tooth.  It usually comes out of India but there are Toads here in the US that use it also.

They are a scam.   Them must provide validation of an alleged claim.  If they refuse,  they cannot collect anything.
Again,  they are a scam and can't validate anything.  Tell them 2Poff and don't even talk with them.  Their only weapon is their Mouth and threats..

Court scam.  "Settle now...send us money".

They're not even smart enough to explain what their recording means when it says "this call may be recorded for quality and compliance".  Ask them what they're trying to comply with.  Ask them where they're from - they won"t say.  Ask for the supervisor.  She gives you the other girl in the room.  Tell her she sounds just like the first girl.  Makes her crazy.  Ask her where their office is.  Ask her what number you dialed to get her.  Tell her the FBI will give you the answers if she doesn't...

Bad scam...they're not even good at it.
