These people called my place of employment about a week or so ago. Someone named Maria told my boss that I was going to arrested for fraud. They continued to call my house harrassing me. When I called back was told all sorts of lies. The company says they are a debt collecting group called THE MR GROUP. when I asked for an address the guy became extremely mad and rude. Said he was issuing a summons for my arrest and that if I didn't pay up I was looking at court, possibly jail time. They had my address and a previous online pay day loan company information that I did use. They also had the last 4 digits of my social.  What's up? Are they real or scammers.  
They even had a file # TRI-???
The company number is this 855-640-3308.

Received a call from Matt Bennett on my work phone telling me I had been notified that charges were being brought against me. Then he called my boss and told her he had papers he needed to serve me. Called the number back and got a woman who had no idea who Matt Bennett was.  "Probably a locator to deliver the papers to you."  Asked her for her address she told me she was in Buffalo, NY and would not give me a street address saying that they don't give out their address because of the nature of their business, being a mediator for people owed money.  First of all, they cannot call you and threaten anything and certainly cannot call your supervisor.  I told her that she was not getting my credit card information because she was not forthcoming to me, I won't be forthcoming to her. Wish there was a way to catch these people.  Looked up MR Group, Buffalo, NY on the internet and did not find anything matching what she said they were.

Someone called my sister in laws moms house from this number wanting me. I don't know why or what this company is. It's really weird because I have never used that number and don't know how they would have even got that number for me. The message didnt sound like they were too friendly. I tried calling the number back and no one answered and their voice mail didnt state a company name. Has anyone else had this problem? If so who or what is this company?

they called me telling me i had a warant for my arest and if i didnt pay they would arest me lol . nice try [***]...try some one else.

"Matt Bennett" called me my house and left a voice message for another person who does not live at my house.  The call was from 855-640-3308  with claim Number TRi-XXXX.  When I called that number, I was placed on a phone loop that asked for an extension number over and over again.  There was no opportunity to talk to anyone or LVM.  The man on the voice message was very threatening to this poor man (who does not live here).  "you have one chance to call back and give us a mailing address".  "you have a claim against you" etc.

 I am thinking these guys are real scammers and I'll bet "Matt Bennet" is a a prerecorded message. Delete.

I told them that we had filed a chapter 7 bankruptcy, which probably made
them Mad, because they couldn't collect on debt that we may have had from a Payday
Loan company that I didn't recognize.  If these Idiots call you - tell them you're not
interested in their SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I received a call from 855-529-7674 as well from a Jesse Signfield. First of all, he was in violation of HIPPA as he discussed my situation with my co-worker as I was out of the office. Secondly, I did not receive any collection notice via email or snail mail and by law, they need to verify debt. I also filed a chapter 7 in Dec last year and gave them the name of my attorney.  I spoke with another attorney and he indicated that they were scammers.

Report these idiots to the FTC and ICC and your state attorney generals office. They should not be allowed to stay in business!

These people have been calling my husband's work phone and harassing

said they had case #  TRI-XXXX, for something we alleged owed from 6 months
ago.  They also don't give out their address.  What a bunch of CRAP!!!!!

Actually---they violated third party disclosure under the FDCPA. HIPPA concerns third party disclosure of a person's healthcare information.

I had a malware popup that urged me not to use my internet anymore and to call them right away.

This number came up on my computer saying it was microsoft support.I was to call it.Froze my PC til I called.First guy was a AH ans BS artist and liar.Second guy at least fixed it.I hate microsoft.I am tempted to go to cops and have them investigated.First guy threatened my husband.

This number came up as a pop up blocker on my computer saying I had been infected and I needed to call Microsoft.  This is not the number to microsoft but scam.  You can get your computer unblocked.  Just keep hitting the delete button of power off but do not call that number 855-640-3308!

Infected our computer with a pop up ad and locked up the computer. It may cost me hundreds of dollars to get new software. If I find them I will press charges, but first I will have my lawyers gather as many as possible to file a class action against them.

Report to Microsoft and Google.did you get computer running it took me months but I finally found someone that could get it running again. Unfortunately it was not the fix though,all my info was still there but it had been cloned and used to shadow my other equipment these other companies are just now figuring out who and how they are doing this using Microsoft and Google apps. Will be a long time before everything is secure again

received a message on my laptop that there is a serious virus on my computer that can compromise my credit cards info, etc., and to call this number right away......looked up the number on here instead of calling.

They just hacked our computer.  We called the l number and the guy said F-you to us.  I called again.  They are a total fraud and locked up our computer.
