Called my family and then I called them about why they were calling. They were stating that I was being served for a debt that I unfortunately had to include in a BK that I completed in 2014. Spoke to my attorney who stated that typically this time of year this happens a lot but since the debt they are trying to collect is listed with the state I reside in as part of the BK, that I am well protected so this is a huge scam.

Glad you didn't fall for the scam.  Your attorney is correct - if the debt was included in your bankruptcy, the callers are breaking the law by calling and harassing you in an attempt to get you to pay.  However, since they ARE scammers, and unlikely to give you names or an address, there's likely not much you can do except block the calls.

I got a call from private number and a woman saying she is a representative for an agency that serve people legal papers and that I was being summoned to appear in court. She gave me a case number and then this number 855-640-9895 and told me they would be able to give me further information. When I called the number they told me I was being sued by the bank I bank with for an unsettled account years ago. When I looked up my name in the court system nothing came up. I also called my bank and they knew nothing about it. After having googled this number I see that I am not the only one being pursued by this false company. These people are scam artists and they need to be stopped.

this is a legal service, claiming to be trying to serve my brother. when they finally answer they ask if you are the person they are trying to reach. as soon as you say no, you are but on hold. very rude, but eventually they do answer and when i asked to be taken from the file, they guy said he would. let's see if it sticks.

Legitimate process servers do not call to warn you, or to get money from you to stop the process.  They will deliver the notification without warning.

(Here is more info than you really need on process serving:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Service_of_proce ... nited_States.29 )

Also, if you were threatened with an "arrest warrant" via a phone call or email, read this:
    http://news.uscourts.gov/warning-arrest-warrant-scam

"The warrant is phony. A valid warrant would not be served by fax or e-mail. It would be served in person by a U.S. Marshal or other law enforcement officer."

"Anyone receiving a fake arrest warrant should contact the FBI or the district U.S. Marshals Office. If there is any question regarding the authenticity of a warrant, contact your district clerk of court."
