Something about owing money to some loan place never heard off and he said he was with Brad and something law office

Robocall voice doing the usual scare tactics “...pursuing this matter govern laws in your state” to be exact. Since we have no open debt to be collected, I’m comfortable saying this is another scam/shady debt collector. If you do find yourself scared by this robo message and call back, please remember to demand the proof of debt in writing and do NOT give out any private info to them!

This number is given but it actually calls from a spoofed VOIP number that looks like it's coming from your state. I have blocked the number but they just call with about 300 other ones, but always say to call 855-650-1359 due to an "urgent and legal matter" and give some phony "reference" number. These jerks have called me 50 times today already. Will be collecting all the #s they call with and filing complaints with the FTC and FBI. Enough is enough.

Received back to back calls, left vm with ‘documented attempt...laws in your state...’ etc.

It's an obvious scam

Yes this number called me 2x in a row. This does not say scam likely, so I wasn't so sure. I blocked the number, but that's not going to change the vm's.

Another scam. Claiming to be a debt collector. I know for a fact I am not in debt, therefore this is nothing more than a scam, like many others mentioned above. Do not fall for it or let them push you around. Make a stand and tell them to bug off. Make a report with the FTC, to try and shut them down or get caught. Get caught wouldn't that be nice.

"your cooperation is mandatory, this is an urgent and time sensitive legal matter requiring your immediate attention. We are pursuing this to the fullest extent of the laws that govern your area. Your reference # is ..." then some chick hops on the mic and gives me some 8 digit confirmation number. Im going to have a whole script wrote out for the next time they call. Let's see if I can scam the scammers.. is there an app that gives me info about where a number is calling me from? Like detailed info not caller id

Same exact script as everyone else phony 7 digit reference number. Received 40 phone calls today alone. But always leaves 8556501359 as number to call back but original number called from changes everytime

Same thing getting a call several times saying a time sensitive matter blah blah and call 8556501359 but the caller I’d is Bradley and Wnstn from Alhambra Ca

Did anyone  get the name  of this so called firm trying to collect  from people.

The vague scare tactic message is designed to panic a victim into calling back.

Most debt collectors will use a certain amount of pressure to convince you to pay the debt. After all, they often don't get paid unless you pay. Be suspicious of a debt collector who uses an unusual amount of pressure to get you to pay immediately, particularly if they also use scare tactics to get you to pay right away. For example, a debt collector is scamming you if it :

• threatens you with a lawsuit and tells that you can avoid the lawsuit by paying right away
• Says a Process Server  or Courier is coming with papers to sign
• Threatens to call / go to your place of employment
• Insists you have been notified, served or are non-compliant via phone message(s)
• Refuses to give a company name or verifiable Contact source
• Refuses to send proof of debt via US mail

A sure sign of a debt collection scam is a collector that wants to you to pay via wire transfer or another method that can't be traced. If the payment method can't be traced, you'll have a harder time getting the authorities involved.

If the creditor sounds completely foreign, or you know you never had an account with that business, there's a chance it's a scam. Never pay a collection you don't recognize. You have the right to request written proof of the debt from the debt collector before you send payment.

Just got the same call saying I owe for a payday loan I never took out. Scammers all over now.
