You are "Vicky Quinn" and are answering under a different screen name, you are answering for her, or are you making a separate post?

This number called my mother and asked her about my adopted brother whom I've been trying to find. They called her several times. They said they were from a police agency. I don't understand the purpose of this phone call. They only asked for his phone number. Don't know if I should call it back or call a police agency in the city he was living in.

Not sure why you are seeking advice on a phone look up site when there are posts here claiming this is a debt collection call. I think you might try contacting a private investigator for that issue.

No reason to call them back.  It is not up to you to do their work for them.  This is nothing more than an extortion attempt.
