Don't bother making coffee.  NO ONE will show up.  This is another 855 scammer number.  IF there were actual papers for you, you would NOT have a warning call.  BLOCK the number.

It's a scam. They claim to be a law firm from Vegas called Pearson & associates. Names used were James Paxson, Scarlett, email Axp@associatesgroup.co
They had some of my personal information which is very scary and claimed I owed over $6k from a hospital bill from 11 yrs ago.
Once I realized it may have been a scam I did my homework and called them out on it. I haven't heard back. I know I'm in the clear bc I have my papers & spoke to hospital.
Don't fall for it or them.
It could also stem and have your info if you ever had collections from Oxford Management Services which were also scammers & arrested for fraud. Google it.

I received a voicemail  from Denise she called my home phone on 7/31 from 714-512-6846.  Stating a complaint was being filled against me and if she doesn't hear from me further action will be taken, I can contact her at 855-650-2333 with file number 23870. Well, Denise it's  9/3 unfortunately I just received your message today, but during the interim I haven't received any mail or any other calls from your scamming company! I've won the case against me, by not responding. These people are a disgrace, the sad thing about this is some people fall for their lies and tricks. These fraudulent companies need to be shut down and they all need to be arrested!

I received a call yesterday stating that someone would be at my house by 7pm to serve me for a credit card debt from 2003-2010, which I never had.  I spoke with James Paxson whom he said he was with Pierce & Associates. He was very aggressive and wanted me to pay $3,000 for a credit card I never had over the phone. SCAM!!!

It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and (this is the important part) that they have the legal right to collect it.  You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

First, you should make a complaint at this Federal Agency, and while there you should also read up on how debt collection is supposed to work as well as what your rights in this matter are: https://www.consumerfinance.gov/

Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.
