Who is it? I answered the phone and they promptly asked for Marlene, no Marlene here. There is a Marilyn here though. I don't hand over the phone to her without knowing who it is first though, as we've been having trouble with Wells Fargo telemarketers. If this is them then their going to be in a lawsuit, cause last time they called we told them not to call about anything other than our bill. They said they would take our number off their call list. So if it is them and I find out for sure its them then I will go to the police and file charges.

It's solicitation with Wells Fargo. Every time they call and I answer the phone, they promptly hang up. I finally called back to find out who it is. You can delete your number from their records by pressing 1 then entering your number.

I guess my next step is to go to the cops and file charges. The last time they called (from a different number btw) I told them not to call unless it was about our bill. They said they would remove our number from their call lists. So by calling again today they didn't remove our number from their call lists, and are proceeding to harass us..

It is about time telemarketers, survey, prank callers, etc. by stopped by adequate laws to prevent such continuos harassing calls from multiple 800 and other numbers.

This includes Wells Fargo as well.

Get calls from these type of numbers all the time maybe 2 or 3 times a day my wife have picked up just to get someone or a machine to hang up. What I like to know is what happen to the Do Not Call List we signed up for a few years ago? Thanks to the answering machine I just let it ring and will contintue.

I am also on the National Do Not Call Registry.  I'm not sure how long it lasts for a landline, but cell phones only stay registered for 1 year.  You have to keep renewing your phone numbers periodically to make sure it's up to date.  You can also file a complaint on www.donotcall.gov against a number that continues to harass you if you are on that list.   Good luck!

I get a call from this number about once a week.    I always press the answer button, and then immediately press the disconnect button.     That's how you tell if it's a robo-dial call, they never call back.   I always do that, when my caller ID is showing an out of area call.

This call is now from Easy Watch Pro, a security company.

I got a call from that number today on my home phone... I did not answer it because the number was not in my phone's directory... hence a stranger. I waited to see if a message was left so I could return the call - but of COURSE there was no message! Sooooo I called them back from a different phone.... and got a message that said they were performing marketing calls for Wells Fargo.
