Seems to be a payday loan scam.  If you had one or applied for one in the past, the companies will have what appears to be a startling amount of information about you including your address, social security number, employer and names of known relatives/associates.  Whoever this is attempts the fairly typical- there is going to be a lawsuit filed against you, the HR department at your company has been notified, etc. etc. etc. bah blah blah.  It's all said in such a way to get you to act quickly before it's too late but if you listen to what they're saying, you'll realize it's all b.s., especially if you're like me and work for a company without an HR department.  Don't fall for it- they never sent you any paperwork and there is no lawsuit, because you'd be the first to know, and no collection company attempts a collection to stop a lawsuit.  Tell them that you know it's a scam and they'll try to convince you otherwise, but they'll leave you alone after that.  Can't seem to find any info on this company but if you find it, report it if it makes you feel better.

I received a call today.  I do have pd loans on collections,  but I'm amazed at how many calls or emails I've received.  Most I ignore,  but today this man "Paul Bopka" stated with legal fees,  I owe 1500+.  I informed him like another one that keeps calling that I'm checking my statement for that month and I'll call him back.   He actually had the nerve to tell me to check around the date he gave me.......mckearny,reed, and associates.

I got a call from them and payed what i owed it is not fraud, i had a pd loan and they were correct. So you rob an nick posting that its a scam you are liers just pay what u owe, simple as that.

Calling BS, this post is from a collection agency/collector themselves.   Calls from this number are nothing short of harassment.

Got two calls today from somebody claiming to be an "officer" in the county I live in.  First call stated he was going to my home today to deliver a summons.  He stated my home address.   I didn't call him back.  Second call stated that their attempt to deliver the summons failed and that I needed to call 855.656.5234 today to avoid further action.  He also left a case number.  I don't have any outstanding loans, so not sure what this is about.
