This was not the number I got a call from, but rather the number that called me wanting me to call. The initial call showed up as "no caller id", when I answered the lady said that she was looking for my sister and gave her name. She then gave me the above listed phone number and reference number asking me to give this to my sister about an upcoming court date. Knowing this was bogus I asked the lady if she had anything better to do with her time. The lady stated "Mam, my job is to inform you and I just got her case this morning." I told her that I could forward my sister's attorney's number to her and she could call them instead. The lady quickly hung up the phone.

Just to she'd some light on this phone call I questioned the lady also and she hung up quickly I'm not in any kinda trouble so I was confused Did your sister have something going on that would involve a court date Was it investigator Smith

This number is a scam do not this number now today it is not setup to calls

This came as a pop-up alert on my computer screen --- I was warned not to shut down my computer as there would be various and dire consequences if I did ---- was invited to hit "OK" on their pop-up, couldn't hit anything else or close the full-page announcement (with unending voice-over) or go to my home page to google the 'phone number. So I did what I always do --- the exact opposite of what they say: I shut down my computer & then turned it back on --- problem solved. This happens regularly --- the last thing they want you to do is shut down because that breaks the connexion --- if you hit "OK" or call the damned number that is when you really get connected with them & can't get away without professional help, apparently. If more of us would just ignore the lying, cheating [***], it might help discourage them --- as it is, they only need 1 out of 4 people to respond & it's worth all their while. I like to think there's a special hell for all scam artists --- or maybe that's where they come from?
