I am receiving repeated calls from this number claiming to be ADT and an importance device needs to be installed on my system. When I return the call, they want my address.  How can they get away with this? It is none of the call types below, but probably classify as prank.

I too received numerous calls from 855-664-9388 saying they were ADT and needed to do something with some device in my home.  I did not call the number back since it doesn't match any # I have on any of my billing paperwork for ADT.  I called the 800# for ADT off my bill and was told that no such # is in their system for them.  They also verified that I had no problems with my system.  The ADT Rep I spoke with on the phone, put me on hold and called the 855# for me and said that when she called it, a recorded voice told her to please hold for the next representative.  She didn't wait around & verified with a manager taht the 855# is not one of theirs.  It was recommended to me to ignore the calls or go ahead and try to call & tell them to stop calling me.  Haven't decided what I am going to do, but am very sick of people trying to scam people!

I too have been receiving these calls and ignoring them. After reading what was posted here I decided to call the number back anyway. All seemed legit to me. They did not ask for an address or name, they had all that info available. There has been a recall on the battery in the system and need to send out a technician to swap out the battery at no charge. Their first available date would not be for another week, so I told them I would need to call back. I looked up about the recall, and sure enough, there has been one.

Claiming to be ADT -I figured ADT would have sent a letter if there was a recall. Sounds like burglars to me - get your address, get in your house and rob you. Ugh.

Got a call from this number, but when I answered, they hung up. They have called 3 days in a row.

855-664-9388 says they are ADT - they are not.  I am getting about 5 calls every day from them, from different numbers.  It is out of control.

After calling us for months I decided to call it back and it is really ADT calling about a battery recall and something else that needed done.  They had all of my info and seemed legit.

I am being harassed from the same 855 number and they are not legit. I contacted the tel# on my bill for ADT and confirmed my acct. has no issues. They should not request any information if they are initiating the phone call, make sure you never give information, if they want to confirm what they have, is one thing, but otherwise question them.

I get about 6 voicemails everyday.  I have 23, and that's the max right now from this number.  They keep calling. One night, I accidentally called it around 8 pm.  A lady, who sounded to be African American,  answered. I said,  "hello. " she said,  "hello,  who's this? "  Then she said tha it was an automated number.  Umm. At that moment I knew it wasn't legit. I told her this number kept calling everyday, claiming to be ADT and it's not. I told her that I would appreciate if she would stop calling my phone.  She said,  "I'm sorry ma'am. " however, I still keep getting the Damn calls.  Ugh! !!

Also,  there was a kid and man in the background.
