An unknown or blocked number called and left a voicemail that said "I am Layla with Titus County Legal Services.  We are looking for (guys name) for legal proceedings. (My name) your address, phone number and name are associated with his.  Have (guys name) call us at 855-666-0354 and reference case #585401 to update his information or we will come find him at your house and arrest him."

I called back because it sounded very legitimate and I do not want my name, address and phone number associated with some guy I've never met that was engaged in criminal activity.  The person that answered was named Hailey and asked only for the case number and my phone number.  I never gave her my name or address.  I called the Titus County, Tx D.A. office afterwards and they have no record of the guys name or mine in their system.

Got a call saying to call this number back. Ignored it and they started calling other families members. Same number and reference number.

Going to jail. Call from Clark County Courts notification dept.

Con. Old lady that almost fell for it

Threatened to come to the house. Gave a case number. Said they will contact employer.

A man named Eric Anderson called and threatened family members. Said he was from a Sheriff Office. I called the County in question. They said that was not a case #, nor did they call any family members.

I just received almost the same message as you stated in your post ( This is the number she said to call back and with the case number 1-855-666-2648).  Female, African American voice left message on my cell and land line phone.
