I received 3 calls this morning at 7:02 a.m. 7:07 a.m. and 7:12 a.m. (robo-calls 5 minutes apart?).  I called this number from another secure phone later in the a.m. and there is just a loud fax-like tone on the other end of the line.  I will report to FTC.  I have been receiving a lot of unknown calls lately so my phone number must have been released to a sales call database or something similar (or worse).

I also recieved three calls 5 minutes apart.  Wondered who would do that without lvg a msg, so I was trying to check out the number.  Don't know who it is.

Got a call from 855-666-1212 - asked me for last 4 of SSN and CC#. Your debit card has been deactivated. Tried calling back and got a FAX tone.

I had the same experience.

Got 3 calls from 855-666-1212, almost exactly 5 minutes apart (6:11pm, 6:16pm, 6:22pm Pacific today).  Ignored them based on comments above and they left no message.

Received a call from them today, November 22, 2011 at 7:04 AM while cooking breakfast for my family.  I will report them for calling too early in the day.  I called them back only to get a fax tone.

Just received this call.Didn't answer because I don't answer unknown calls. usually for this purpose.

Received 2 calls this AM same message about being Bank of America calling and deactivating my card.

I received the same call this morning. Filed complaint with FTC.

Called me two times on Thanksgiving Eve at 9:05 and 9:10. Did not leave a message. Called back and got a loud fax noise.

I have received this message twice in the past couple of days.  They start asking for the last 4 of the SSN, but I didn't give any input...how can we stop this company from this scam?

Same as everyone else... five mins apart, then loud fax noise. Very weird

Did a reverse look up number is owned by Big River Telephone LLC, spoke to an agent he verified that phone number was one of theirs and not active.  I suggested he tell management about this and what it was about, I strongly suggested that one of the employees had sold the number without their knowledge other wise no body would be able to pull it out of thin air to scam people

Received a call from 876 565-2652 (Jamaica area code) at 6:19 pm last night.  Recording mentioned something about Bank of America EDD debit card being deactivated and press 1 to continue.  Hung up and 2 mins later it called my wife's number.  I called it back and it was a 2 sec recording of someone mumbling and then a recorded voice saying voice mailbox was full.

Got a phone call this AM.  A recorded voice saying that my card was deactivated.  If I wanted to speak to a rep. to press 1.  I pressed 1 and another recording saying that they would  need several piece of info such as card number etc.  I hung up.  
Crazy.  Hope no one is giving that kind of info over the phone to a recording.
