Someone called my parents number and thought it was mine and said he was going to bring me documents to sign. And gave a case number.

I got the same message and told me to call the number back or they were coming to my job

Their threat to come to your job is illegal. If you ever get a live person at that number, tell them your attorney will be in touch.

Did you get anything from this company? They called me also. I called the number back and it says they are AAG or Argos Group and said you have been served and a representative would be with you? Not sure why they are calling, Please let me know if you got anything else from these people. The number they called from was 855-666-1469.

These people just sent over an employee verification form to my office, luckily the HR department asked me first. The return number they give is 855-666-1476 or 855-666-1469 but these numbers are not any good.   The fax they sent asking for my information had no company name on it as to whom was requesting personal data about me.  THIS is extremely illegal and fraudulent.

These people called me and said my file had gone for litigation.  Then the guy went to get the hard copy of my file, came back and asked me to verify the last four of my social.  I said I did not do that over the phone and asked what this was about.  He said it had already gone to litigation and asked if he could do anything else.  I said I guess not!  He said that they would have the sheriff pick me up and hung up the phone!!!  I haven't done anything illegal, but it still makes me feel weird.  My guess is that this was somebody trying to get my personal information.  No legitimate company would operate that way!

I keep getting calls from this number and no message left. I answered two days ago. They have my social and ip address and say they are filing a case on me, in a state where I do not live. After trying with 3 different calls to find out from "Mark" why and what grounds, he stated I was being illusive and disrespectful. Never lost my cool, didn't cuss. And he finally hung up. Never told me how he got my number and information.

Called twice today.  Never left a message.

these people keep calling me will today i answered and the wanted to speak will my legal counsal and my employers .they knew what kind of vehcals i drive. they said i would be served and the constable would be by to serve me papers

What were your results?  Did they ever show up?  I got a call out of the "blue" saying they would be at my office to serve me summons.  Never received any certified regarding, had no idea what is was for.  Finally got number to work, it was AAG, they were rude and obnoxious...gave me info and I said I had not heard anything from anyone via mail, phone call or anything regarding this matter and he said he didn't care about my problems.  I hung up!  They did send request to my HR group, but luckily they called me and I told them not to  verify anything because I am not requesting anything that would result in employment verification.  They do operate that way!  They are some type of debt collection company apparently.

Called three times today. No message?

got a voicemail at 1:15p.m. saying a private carrier was serving papers between 3-5p.m. no one ever showed. will not give name of company.

I have been getting calls from this number for the last 2 days.  They have never left me voice messages.  I believe it has something to do with those payday loan scammers who are trying to get information from me.

Rec'd 3 phone calls all within a total of 2 hours from each other.  No message left.  When I called the number back, got the same recorded message indicating "it says they are AAG/Argos Group and said you have been served "   definitely one for the FBI..

I've gotten 2 calls from them this afternoon.  When I answered, they said the call was for someone else.  It was a recording.

This number calls, and calls, when I answer it is a recording stating that I have had a summons and to hold, whatever, they have been calling for over a year and I have yet to be served any papers, these are payday loan scammers trying to scare people into paying old debts.

They called my parents today and they said they sent a summons... We never received anything and they didnt wanna tell me who they were calling unless I gave them my social.
