This number just called me but I did not answer because I did not know the number... However, after reading the messages on here I do believe that they are Comcast due to me cancelling their service earlier this morning. So they did not even wait 1 day!!
Terrible to say the least!

Comcast/Xfinity calling to confirm disconnect.  Took several seconds & a "beep" before some dude came on the line.

turned off Comcast - received the call few days later

Believe it or not, Bright House is even worse!
After getting their phone service with our Internet service, we were deluged with telemarketing calls, and were forced to add that number to the DNC list to stop the harassment, and block the calls that still kept coming in.
We only got their phone service since it was basically free, when bundled with their Internet service.
We only have Bright House since they have a monopoly on this territory, as all providers do.
They all have their own territories, where they are the only provider in that territory.  Their own little fiefdoms.
I had Comcast before, and would much rather have them than Bright House, even though they both suck.
They are just less bad...
