- NotrightOn Sept 19, 2016, I got a phone call from 204-987-4560. I did not answer the call and they left a voice mail. The American female voice stated to contact this number 855-675-0097. The recording said that there is a security breach on some software that they installed on my computer last year. I didn't have any outside company install any software on my computer. This is scam.
- Caller: No name given
- TOTAL SCAMThis is a total scam!!!! Why would a company that installed software on your computer call you about a "red flag". Your computer would alert you first. Do not call them back!!!
- Caller: DID NOT GIVE A NAME
- annonymous| 1 replyreceived 3 calls from this number within an hour... that was the first clue this is a scam, 2nd - they didn't leave a voice mail. I decided to call back out of curiosity. an Indian or middle eastern guy answered by saying Hello. That was it, no company name or anything. (3rd clue) he then started to verify my phone number and then my name, the fact that he had my name is what sent me over the edge so I started hammering him with questions and getting info that I needed... says his name is Phillip Chris (kinda strange since he has a very thick middle eastern accent) employee ID is BBS25, says he works for Phone Support LLC (googled the name and can't find anything online about the company) says that they work for Microsoft. I let him start digging his hole and he digs REALLY FAST AND REALLY DEEP, LOL. Tells me that my firewall security is down which is letting people in to my network yadda, yadda, yadda... I let him think he was getting to the point where he was getting remote access to my pc then told him I would have to call him back to finish because my daughter just fell. he didn't give me an extension or direct line or anything which I expected so when I called the 855 number back guess who answered, that's right folks Phillip and he just answered - Hello, no company greeting or anything again also kinda strange that you can call this company that Microsoft hired to monitor their customers network security and get the same person every time no mater when you call and absolutely no kind of proper company greeting or anything. They do sound busy though because you can hear the call center noise in the background LMAO, (obviously some piped in background noise. you've gotta give them an A for effort). Jus"t to verify all this I acted as though I dropped my phone and accidentally hung up, waited a few minutes then called back again and sure enough ol' Phillip answered "Hello" again. I let him think he was making ground with me and was going to gain access to my system with his remote access (https://www.fastsupport.com/ which I believe is a legit remote access client) I told him that I wasn't comfortable giving someone remote access to my computer because ALL my accounts and personal information is on my computer and that I would have to think about completing this process and would call back. He tried like hell to keep me on the phone but I hung up anyway that was about 1.5 hours ago, he has since then called back 13 time up to this point. If that doesn't SCREAM scam I don't know what does! LOL. I have since notified the local police and FBI because you just never know if these scams are used to fund terrorism.
- Caller: Phone Support LLC
- Legion1aSame story as everyone else.
They want remote access to my computer in order to repair their software.
What I should do is set up an old computer with no actual real personal information on it, but instead a devastating virus, allow them access to it, and then wipe out their entire system!
Just the thought of doing that made me laugh out loud!- Caller: Scam Artest

- Linda Kyzer| 1 replyCalling daily first 3 calls never left a message then started leaving one to call 855-675-0097. I called back after the 4th call and they say there has been in security breech in a software program that was download a year ago of which i havent downloaded any software. Told me to hold while they got to the data base and I hung up. This number calls 3 to 4 times a day now

- Heinz57 replies to Linda KyzerDo not answer unknown calls and do not call them back. Consider getting a call blocking device (or app for your cell phone)-they're available online and start around $45. https://800notes.com/nb/search?q=call+blockers
- KatieThis is obviously very serious; not only are they wiping out your computer, they're most likely gaining access to your personal info, passwords, banking and financial information...please file a complaint or even contact law enforcement. Call your local news; they often broadcast these scams so that other people will not fall prey to their tactics. The sad truth is, some people don't know what "installing software" means and all they hear is Security Breach and they panic. Report them, and block the number. I got 15 calls in 3 days, including 4 calls on a Sunday; legitimate businnesses do not usually contact people on weekends, and the urgency with which they try to reach you is a dead giveaway that they want your info; who else would be that concerned with "red flags"on software that they can't even monitor anyway?
- Caller: "Software company"
- Call type: Telemarketer
- KarenI got 4 calls from these idiots. I just got another one 10 minutes ago and told the guy off and told him to NEVER call this number again, and that I was reporting them as a HUGE scam. I could smell this man out in an instant. God help these people if I ever catch up with them. I told him he should NEVER mess with an Italian. Everyone report these idiots to the BBB, FCC, and the secret service. They love these kind of scammers. The numbers are located in your areas. Lets teach these people a lesson. (As my grandfather would say!)
