They called stating, Investigations and said yes. And I told them they were contacting me about a family member and I wouldn't give them the name and straight out asked was it a scam because they have been "looking" for said person for 3 years now.  This person is a person in trouble with the law, but 3 years, we give you all the info and you can't find him. She said I am going on with the "investigation"

How do I get them to stop calling my private cell without changing my number. They keep calling for my niece's ex, but we haven't seen him in over 4 years and have no idea where he is. Personally I have had my number for almost 10 years and do not want to have to go thru the aggravation of changing it, but I am at a point where I feel like I must, in order to get them to leave me alone. When I do speak to someone, I tell them the same thing. This person has not been around for quite a number of years... Take me off your list.... Stop calling me. AND they say they put my number on the do not call list, but a week later they are calling me again. RRRRRRRRR SMH  So I don't answer it but they leave me a voicemail... which takes away from my limited talk minutes. So now, not only are they looking for someone I haven't seen in years, but now they are also wasting my talk minutes (which are limited) and I'm wasting minutes on them.... AND it's not me they are looking for. I'm really f'ing aggravated by these people. Who can I complain to and keep them from calling me???????

They are looking for tony with money owed and cases at court ...there is no such a thing and these people should be stopped  

Call was a 'threatening' type call from a bill collector...Case number, Investigator, etc.  The implication was that a criminal  investigation was in progress.  They called my business line..Illegal by Federal guidelines.

Call ring central at 1(888)5287464 and report the to the fraud department.

Left a message robotic voice. Looking for "Defendant" -------. Idiots are criminals themselves. Block the call.

I called the 855 number from a blocked number. The person on the other end said their name and then put my on hold. I was rerouted to a voicemail box. I called the number again and got a live person. He would not give me the name of the "Law Firm" that called me and left a message stating that they had a case against me. I forwarded the hone number and information I was able to extract from the operator to the Federal Trade Commission and The FBI for further investigation. Hope this helps someone.

I just received a partial message (half of it was cut out and didn't get recorded) from 855-678-5437.  I didn't answer because I was at work and they called on my cell.  Within minutes, my daughter called me, very scared and nervous for me, stating that she had just received a call from a Vera Craine with Reynolds, Heill, & Associates - they gave her a call back number of 855-967-0061 x 115.  They asked her if she knew me and had contact with me, of which she answered yes.  She was strictly told to let me know that I needed to contact them within 24 hours to avoid legal action against me - that I owed a debt and they gave her a case number.  BTW... I have a high credit score and do not owe anyone anything... please do not fall for this.  If there is any real case, notifications will be sent via mail - with real names and return addresses... I will not waste any time responding to these predators... I know better and I am hoping in reading these posts that you will too.

You can report them to the FTC and your state's Attorney General.  Also look into getting a call blocker - Amazon.com has many for under $60.

if you  can  get a valid  postal  address you can send them a cease and desist  letter via registered mail.  If they  do not  comply  you can  sue them under the FDCPA.

if you think a court case is pending would they really call you? Not! Collections company's require a permit to operate in the state they are calling to so check with your states insurance commissioner , if they don't have a permit they may be fine $10,000

These idiots called me as well. Left an automated message saying they were looking for me and if anyone at this number has any information where to locate me they should call . I called them back and asked why they were calling - asked me if these four numbers were the last of my socIal - they weren't mixed up a bit and if I ever lived at a specific address - want mine but a relatives address - just said not my social and not my address. I wasnt about to give these scum bags any info! She said they would updated her system - I am like yeah u do that - these people need to be stopped I am so sick of these people calling -- enough all ready!!! They answer the phone " investigations" - scum bags - who does that - get a real job and stop harassing innocent people !!!!!

1-855-678-5437, many times a week leaves a voicemail stating,'they are looking for this certain person and, if I have any knowledge as too the where abouts' of said person. They claim to be a Invastigative Agency. Too, no avail I express, remove my phone number from your master list, and stop telephoning me. I Googled this phone number and, it does not give any information for this Agency. Very Annoying.

These idiots called my 80 year old mother!  then they called my sister.  I'm so tired of these calls!  I called back and spoke to "Victoria" who kept putting me on hold, and would come back with more info.  Said I had a court date at ----Court...well I was on my laptop and looked up said court and no court date, so I said I have a court date at --- Court and then she back tracked and said she did not say that....said I did some payday loan on line - which i did not...I don't owe anything to anyone.  I told her if the calls to my family didn't stop I was going to call the FBI because I knew someone who worked there.  Then she hung up.  I am constantly getting calls from various numbers saying some type of "check fraud" - heck I don't even write checks!  They always call from various numbers around this time every year.  Some are more eager to suck you in than others.  Just beware.  Don't fall for the scams.
