My mother just received a postcard offering $100 gift for use at Wal-Mart and Target.  When she called the number given (1-855-679-0119) they asked for her credit card number.  When she refused, the person hung up.

I have fallen for the fraudulent postcard I received in the mail claiming I have yet to claim my reward of $100 gift savings eligible at any Walmart or Target stores. I called and it was a long and boring spiel that left me only hearing blah, blah, blah and I gave in and gave them my credit card # and was charged $3.50 S&H and haven't heard a word since. That was about 2 weeks ago. Figure I better cancel my card in case they decide to go shopping themselves for $100 or more spending on my dime. The # is 1-855-679-0119 also given this # 1-855-373-9279
