Guy said I was being sued but wouldn’t give other details. Was a super dick when I told him I didn’t have anything to write with

Guy told me I was being served papers today, that I was being sued by McLane Law group and call this number, 855-679-4694, I have not called this number and dont plan to. Guess I will know if someone shows up with papers.

I am sure it is a debt collector trying any and all strategies to get a call back.

I got from McLane law group said I was getting sue for a debt of account in 2015. So called attorney general and report this it is scam so please if you get a call like this report it right away to attorney general.

Called to say I owed 7,000 on a Visa from 2004, that I never had, told me my court day is tomorrow! Complete [***] man on the phone, Trying to sound like I’m being controlled, and I will go to jail. I wonder how much these call scammers make trying to sound all threatening to people. What a bunch of clowns 🤡!!!!

Was first called by unknown caller on my land line. They just asked who I was.  Next thing I know I got another call from, I assume, the same unknown number.  They told me I would be receiving a certified legal document in the mail and left this number.  When I called, they knew all about me and my past.  My card was from 1995 from Wells Fargo.  We stopped paying on it in 2006 as we were going into bankruptcy. I told them it has been 14 years and thus the statute of limitation applies (4 yrs).  This snotty woman told me it did not matter because of a tolling agreement. That does not apply in my case however. I told the woman I want a written verification ASAP! I did not acknowledge the debt.  Any way, she told me I was going to be served a summons in the mail! I talked to several attorneys and they said this is a scam, but if I should hear from this group, I should get in touch with them right away because what they are doing is illegal and against the Fairness Act. It's been 6 days since I heard from this nasty group over my zombie debt. Sure, it has stressed us and made us extremely angry! Don't talk to these people! They are not legitimate!

i received the exact phone call saying i owe Wells Fargo 8249 from 2005. The caller would not tell me any other info. The stated they would garnish my paycheck and put a lien on my home.

Left a message saying that they were going to serve me legal documents and to call this number to make other arrangements. I have not lived in my previous city of residence in over six years. They were going to serve me there.
