i clicked on a video on you tube - a warning 'dangerous website' appeared (blue screen) followed by a 'windows' box, audibly warning that my computer had been corrupted and I should call that # right away for technicians to walk me through removing the virus.  it all sounded very bogus so I shut down (as I could not get out of the warning page except by shutting down through contr - alt - delete, and am now running a virus scan

I looked there number up on google if they were an actual real company etc those [***] would be on there [***]'em there trying to take your info

I was working on my computer when the blue screen came up saying that my System Health is Critical,  Do Not Restart.  Please contact computer technician - BSOD: Error 333 Registry Failure of operating system- Host: Blue Screen Error 0x000000GE. Contact computer technicians toll free 1-855-690-2435.  I did call the number and it was only when he started pressuring me to get the Microsoft Defender for $299 and put up a page for payment, etc.  This is when I refused to go any further.

This # is a scam.  While searching on Bing, a fake BSOD came-up with a virus warning and the phone #8556902435. I hit alt,ctl,del and closed Internet explorer. Did a scan w/Malwarebytes and got a clean bill of computer health. I called the number, pretended to be a ignorant computer user and had the guy with a foreign accent on the phone for ONE HOUR!  I played him as such a fool; he must have felt like such a moron when I finally said" The joke is on you, I'm a computer tech and now I will hang-up."  I had my cell phone set to show  "unidentified" so he was lost as to who called.  If you can, waste their time as they do by invading your computer.  I do have a life, but a massive rain storm is overhead and I can't stand scammers.
