got a call from 855-691-0192 on my cell phone.  they asked for " Jennifer"
I think this person had my phone number years ago.
then said to press 1 for english, 2 for spanish

I hung up, but charges to my cell phone minutes were made
why do I have to pay for this s___

Guy who answered said he works for the Collection Bureau of America -- they also call from 0195. They've called me previously and I asked to be on the no-call list starting last year. This time, I chewed him out/threatened to take legal action for lying to me about removing my number, asked for a supervisor/manager (he said one wasn't available), and he assured me that he removed me from the calling list. Obviously last year when I tried the same thing it didn't actually get deleted (or "Megan Gonzalez", who they keep calling for, gave them my number again at the end of this year). We'll see. I added them to my iPhone blocked list.

PS: MEGAN GONZALEZ -- wherever you are, STOP GIVING PEOPLE MY NUMBER. I'm sorry you owe tons of money, but just be a good citizen and own up to your mistakes. Thanks.

They tried to scam me out of 900 dollars for a bill that I paid 4 years ago.  I told them that then they hung up on me.

This number robocalled my cell three times. The third time I answered and the automated announcement said they had an important call and that it was a call to collect a debt. I pressed 1 to be connected and got another message that there were no available agents. After this I gave up and blocked the number. I know exactly who and what I owe, and a legitimate company would identify itself.

Does this sort of activity really do something for them? With caller ID and blocking, does anyone really fall for whatever they are trying to scam us into? Ridiculous.

My husband was expecting an important call so with out thinking I picked up the phone.  I didn't hear anyone so I just stayed quiet.  When nothing happened I said hello and a recorded message started.  They asked for a "Jennifer B......" and I hung up before they started all the prompt BS.  We've had this number for 5 years....unlisted...but as soon as the phone was hooked up the calls started.  Back then it was for a "Jennifer K...." and we literally received 30 calls a day from a wide variety of places.  I kept a log and then sent info to PA Attorney Gen'l Office.  Now we only get 4 calls a day:  Portfolio Recovery412-235-6111); 800-Svc; Philadelphia(215-220-4746); and Bryn Mahr(610-922-8926).  Most times no message is left (we have a generic message on our answering machine).  But the last two days of 800-Svc has been "Jennifer B...." and after 5 years they are still looking for "Jennifer K....".  Idiots, Jennifer K is listed in the phone book....try looking her up!!

I get callas from them when I'm at work so I can't answer and they leave message! Then I finally answer when they call asks me to press one I press it and it hangs up on me! So I call them back press 0 to speak with someone and it hangs up on me.. What a bunch of bull crap I'm not scared to file harassment!

Oh wow finally got ahold of a man so monotone it was pathetic! Told him I wasn't the person they were calling for still in a monotone says they will take me off the list have a nice day and hangs up.. Buddy just because you don't like your job don't mean you gotta be a jerk to me when I had no tone or attitude with you! Crappy company! He said the company too fast for me to understand but for sure debt collectors! Grumpy ones too!

talked to a female, said she was calling on behalf of The Collection Bureau Of America. told me she would take my number off their list. I don't think so!!!!!!!!!!! keep calling for another person , I keep telling them I am not him.

Called multiple times, never a msg

Missed a call, no message left.  Anytime I get a call like this I always do a search for the number on 1800 notes.

99 times out of 100 it is a scammer/collection/telemarketer.  And yes my # is on the DNC list.

855-691-0192 is an "UNKNOWN" area code. One site said it's reserved for FUTURE toll free numbers. I guess this is the FUTURE b/c I am getting hang up calls from this number and they leave no message.

The 855 area code is now active.
Unfortunately, it seems that many scammers like to use / abuse / spoof it.

This number keeps calling and will not leave message. Calls minutes in between calls.

i also got a call today - when i finally spoke to someone and ask what is this about - Collection Agency ...

This number has called me 8+ times in one day.  Automated, same message as everyone else gets.  Really annoying!

Unwanted caller

I get a call from this number (+1 855-691-0192) at least once a day.  Sometimes twice!  And they never leave a messege. Really annoying! !
