McKinley and Lafayette Associate suppose to be a law firm is using this number 855-695-0687 calling as a  unknown caller

Got a phone call from a very nice woman who said she was calling from an attorney's office looking for someone with the same name as my son (very common name). She stated she was calling from a warrant office and needed to get in touch with him regarding a criminal matter. The DOB she gave for this person was totally different from my son and said the matter occurred in Phoenix, Az, where he has never lived. I explained that it was not my son, he never lived there and DOB was different. When I called back after hours the voice mail said it was for Morton Management.

Yeah - calling from the "Warrant office" - NOT.  Debt is a civil matter, not criminal, so NO warrants would be issued.  And if someone had committed a crime, guess what?  The cops just show up - they don't have a "warrant office" call and give you a heads up!  Your caller was a scammer or junk debt buyer.  Don't be surprised if they call back saying it IS your son they're looking for.  More info here:

Got a message from Miranda Tool advising me that there is a case going to court on Friday February 13th against me for writing a bad check.  Its apparently some collection agency calling to collect from a 2009 ACE cash express loan. I closed out the bank account so now she is saying it is going to court to charge me with check fraud or some [***].  This lady called my ex inlaws and my room mates parents and grandmother.  Ridiculous.  Telling everyone I had warrants out for my arrest & pending court cases against me.

This number is a scam and the caller will contact every person you have a number - they call everyone they can find a number for and tell details that you have a warrant in a criminal investigation for a case that is going to be filed in a local court. They are a fraud and really embarrass you and make everyone you know call you with great concern.(855) 695-0687
