Brett Hagler has called us from this number and 866-424-8728 and 866-424-2728.  I have contacted my attorney and he will will be handling this.

Brett Hagler called us twice today, again.
He told my husband to post this on the internet:
We have contacted our attorney with GM Legal Department, since my husband is a UAW retiree and receives legal representation.
Any further correspondence is to be referred to GM Legal Department in Shreveport LA.  

Any phone calls received will and have been recorded, and considered harrassment.

I keep getting calls from this number. Some guy by the name of Mike Warren.... He has been calling for a while now saying that he is going to have me served within the hour. That was about two months ago... First, I don't owe this particular anything and the only debt I have is my grocery bill.... I gave my attorney this guys number with his extention....

I called my local sheriff's office. No company can come to your house. Only the sheriff or a id badge person from the courts can serve you. And they can't make threats.

If you have received a call from this company and they told you they were sending a process server out to you, this is a direct violation of the FDCPA, and is not true (process servers DO NOT call first), this company is not a lawfirm, and does not sue on debts, if they have threatened to sue you or prosecute you in any way, save any recordings where legal, and file a complaint with the New York State Attorney General's office by calling 716-853-8404.   Federal law mandates that they mail you written notice of debt within 5 days of the initial phone call to you. if they have not done that either, file a complaint.  you can't be arrested for failure to pay any debt, including payday loans.  ask them if they are licensed or registered to do business in your state. if they are not, they CANNOT attempt to collect from you.

This guy named Russell said I was to be served a yr. ago and thrown out so he is reissuing the papers and I am to be served tomorrow at my home or at work.  I haven't worked for over 1-1/2 yrs.  I am retired.  Just another one to scare me. No idea what he is talking about.

This Russell called me around 9:48 this morning, left no message was from a restricted call.  I am cleaning this morning and am so afraid he is coming to our house today.  Have no idea what he wants.

Well here it is going on 3:00 in the afternoon today and the guy named Russell still has not shown up at my front door.  These people just want to make you nervous and at 67 I am tired of it and so is my husband.

This number has hijacked my lap top computer - pop up says I have a trojan  or malware infection, to call immediately for support. No idea how this happened.

Run your anti virus and follow the steps it says if there is one. Pop ups tend to be lies to get you to call a number so they can gain access to your computer and sell you software that is nasty claiming their protection is better. Also download malware bytes and run it.  While it is possible to get stuff that sneaks on from visiting sites you shouldn't be.  Also Spybot & Search & Destroy as a back up for keyloggers etc. Make sure if you get it, to download all updates for it first then run it. (note, do not use teatimer)  Both can be found on filehippo for free.  You can also run a online check - I think Nortons and McAfee have online scans.  

Make sure you have popup ads blocked on your computer in its settings also. If your running IE, do switch to something like Firefox and run ad blocker plus.

The call actually showed private number, we don't answer these, so a threatening message was left saying they are Hagler and Associates, that they would be serving papers on a certain date and time to my address and if I had questions to call and that it was for a pay complaint.  Odd, never heard that one before.  Called back, they returned the call, spoke with my girlfriend, she's not ignorant if these things.  Quick talker, apparently I owed on some debt back 2005 was 700+ now 3000+ , already been sued for it, but they were giving me the chance to settle for pennies on the dollar....ha, ha... First, they talked about this bogus debt to my girlfriend, without permission which is illegal!  She was suspicious immediately.  BEWARE!  THIS IS A SCAM! The new number they had me call back was 855-425-8839.
