Number left on my voicemail stating there is a problem with my AppleID. Getting multiple calls a day claiming to be from Apple. After doing a lot of research, this is likely spoofing. Don’t call this number back. Don’t answer 800-275-2273 or 800-694-7466 unless you specifically requested a service call from Apple. Likely scammers using Apple numbers to try to get you to give them info. Call Apple directly if you think you may have an issue.

Pretending to be Apple, with caller ID of “APPLECARE’ with real North America Apple Support phone number. Robot call Tells you your AppleID has been compromised and not to use any of your Apple Products until you call this number. Called the real Apple Support and this number is not a valid Apple phone number.

I receive multiple phone calls from 1-800-692-7753 number saying not to use any of my Apple devices until I called because of hacking the call back number they provided is 1-855-698-6849 I answered one of the phone calls and the guy said they were from Apple and that my phone was being used from a number in Nigeria And in my local citythey ask for my Apple ID then they ask me to get to a laptop and to go to a website and wanted me to download something to help me see the activity, I told the guy I would just go to the Apple store and he said that it would cost me as he is talking I was googling the numbers and I hung up and call Apple care and told them everything that happened.  The representative said that the one 800 number that they were calling from is an apple number but the other number is not in that it was good that I reported the situation. They are a SCAM be aware

‭1 (855) 698-6849‬  Is being left on my VM saying they are Apple and that my account has been hacked! SCAM. 100%.  I work for Apple . I am an AppleCare Advisor. This is a scam. The caller is shows apples actual number which is weird. But Apple would never call you with out you initiating a call back yourself. And when we do call we ask for you directly by name.  We would never ask you for money for technical support.

I have received repeated calls from 800-692-7753, telling me not to use Apple products for financial deals until I call 855-698-6949.  I did not take the bait.  Glad to have this forum to confirm that it is a scam.

Received 2 calls so far from 800-692-7753 (seems it's a spoofed number Apple support). I didn't answer either time. They left a vm on the first call. As someone else reported, it's a poorly recorded computer like voice talking about using financial apps on your phone and to call them at 1-855-698-6849.

Of course it's a scam. Why is there any question? Any call that tells you there is something wrong with your computer is a SCAM call.

Pretty cool since I don't own any apple products and haven't used my apple ID in about six years. Just ignore and move on with your life. This stuff is annoying but getting easier to spot.

I've been getting voicemails that say they are with Apple and that I should not use my Apple devices.  The message states that I should call them back immediately and leaves the call back number 855-698-6849.  The call shows up as Apple Inc on my caller ID.

I got the same call as everyone else, same voicemail message.  Caller showed as Apple Inc.  I suspected a scam, checked here, confirmed.  Nicole C's response above was very informative.

Pretty easy to determine this is a SCAM.  I don't own ANY Apple products.   Never have.  Same experiences as previous individuals.  Appears as though the foolish one percent are the ones keeping this SCAM going.
