Total scam- debt collection agency trying to collect a "time-barred" old debt from 10 years ago- had MY number as a reference, for my hubs EX wife.  They use scare tactics to try and make you think that you are being sued.  They said the were outside my door- which is impossible as they have the address in colorado where she lives.  [***].

Said they were a finance loan company and that I had a loan I never paid on and I had a warrant out. I’ve never had a loan a day in my life plus names were very supicious that were used! This loan was supposedly 1,522 but with no payments it was 3,722 lol what loan

Called and said they were calling about a legal matter regarding "my property address" and that documents would be filed if I didn't call within 24 hours. Called my EX-in-laws that have not been legally related to me in over 6 years. Called the number back and received a generic voice message over and over until someone finally answered and she said she could not answer any questions and was simply a switch-board operater for several law firms. She looked up my "case" by phone number and said myself and my EX-husband were "defendants" and transferred me. Held for 7 minutes and a very rude man picked up asking for my social security number. When I said I would not give that information he laughed and said he already had it in front of him and if I didn't verify the last 4 digits he would assume I did not want to cooperate and would file papers today. I declined and tried asking again who he was with, what the legal matter was regarding (debt, other???), and he said if I didn't want to follow their rules and give the information requested he would not answer anything further and continued talking over everything I said even when I asked him to please stop talking and just let me ask some questions. I finally told him to F-himself and file whatever they want to file... which I doubt is anything as this is NOT how a legit legal firm would handle a so-called "case".  SCAM.
