Implied that I was having a summons that was undeliverable, and to contact attorney Anthony Brown at this number

Scam! REAL process servers don't call in advance.

Left a message for my son to call - said summons came back undeliverable.  Must call Debra Williams after 10:30 tomorrow.  Did not give the name of county that issued summons - I figure it is a scam.

My sister sent me a text that she received a call for me the same as Chelly, above. To call Anthony Brown at this number regarding a civil matter and that they were a processor for the court. Left a case number.  She also said the girl who left message was named Vanessa. Just curious, if we all got this same call, are we all in the same city/state? My call originated from East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. I haven't lived there for over 7 years.

Call from process server Richard Thompson that the summons was returned and I need to call attorney Anthony Brown and he gave me a case #.   He asked if any outstanding tickets, etc, and acknowledged I sounded like I probably
didn’t know who wanted to sue me.

I got a call yesterday I live in Texas.

Got a call from restricted # to call this lawyer. That someone had tried to serve me but couldn't. When called, stated they worked for a lawyer that she had tried serve me regarding a unpaid debt.

Received a call today...same as all statements above. Also they had my SS# which I NEVER give out !

I got the same message as everyone else, but they were trying to contact my daughter. Argh!!!

both my husband and I received calls saying they had papers to serve that were undeliverable and i was to call this lawyer named Jackie Smith.  I told them good luck and not to call again.  Did not give out any other information but did ask what Law Firm they were with and they would not give it to me

Just got the same call from David Peirce and for me to contact Attorney James Harris with my case number and the attorney's number. Not pursing this at all.

Same call as everyone else, anonymous and to call Anthony Brown. When I returned the call, I got bounced around so many times, and when I gave them the case number, I could hear her type the 1st few numbers, then the typing stopped even though I continued the numbers. I could still hear all background noise though.

Same thing. Unknown call to my mother for me. I called them back and they told me it was for an old credit card from 2002. I did not admit to the debt being valid because it was 20 years ago. Sounds scammy. Hope I really don’t get sued for something weird.

Got this msg today. This message is for Morgan Page name is spelled MARITEN I'm calling on behalf of the Clark County process service department my department was contracted to deliver legal documents for you to appear in court and for some reason they will return from the address where to file _⁠_⁠_ to avoid any legal complications or failure to appear in court please contact the Attorney in charge of your complaint telephone number to the for me is 855-715-06911 calling you must be food back to your case number .

Got the same call minutes ago but the “lawyer’s” name was given as James Harris. Got a similar call a month or so ago.

Got a call from David Pierce stating he was calling on behalf of a process server for the county I live in.  Told me the papers were undeliverable bc the address was wrong. Told me to call lawyer Jackie Smith to schedule a time to deliver the papers. Ugh.

Never said the name, only said that he was calling from the Baltimore County’s process servers office and that I should contact Anthony Brown. I do also believe it’s a scam.

You believe correctly. As has already been stated, real process servers don't call in advance.
