Been called several times. Twice they left a message threatening legal action. I haven't called number back because I'm suspicious of a scam.

Got one too..has to be a scam..left no identifying company..if someone e is going to notify for legal action..no voice recording. It will be a letter or a live recording

i got a call this am from a debra william..she CLAIMED that she was a atty sd i was going to go to jail and court legal action..called the number she left and is says processing and summons division..i hu called houston sheriff office i was told there is NO  SUCH THING  they said it was a tactic by fraudulent companies sd but if i have a recording showing that she said she was a attorney i can sue and they will be pressing charges as well..SADLY FOR HER when you call me phone my calls ARE RECORDED...u SCREWED Up LADY i will be filing charges turning the recording over to the ATTY general and the Sheriff department in HOUSTON this was for ACE  i DID get a loan with that office but i will only pay someone that does not lie and can send me info on the bill ..The sheriff office said if they cant give you a address and provide you with  a letter DO NOT DO BIZ WITH THEM THEY ARE SCAMMERS...LOLOLOLOLOL TRY AGAIN STUPID...I WILL SEE YOU IN COURT AND I WILL BE CALLING THE ACA ATTY GENERAL FTC AND FINDING ME A FDCPA ATTY....SO YOU ARE RIGHT I WILL SEE YOU IN COURT DEBRA BUT U WILL BE THE DEFENDANT...HAHAHAHAHA

I too received a call in work.  Our person that answers the phone picked up and heard a recording asking for me by name, said it was a legal matter and left a Case No. to reference when calling back.  I hit *67 and dialed the number.  Heard a recorded message saying "thank you for calling the Process and Summons division.  If you know your party's extension dial it now" ....blah...blah....blah.  I just hung up.  I don't know anyone money and if anyone were going to serve a summons, they're not going to call you and tell you.  I will contact the PA Attorney General's number if this continues.

I received the same call but don't have it recorded... Do you have any suggestions? Should I call them back? Mine was for the same thing ACE...

Received recorded call at the church where I work for someone who does not work here and never has, threatening legal action.  They can drop by and attempt to serve legal papers all they want.  There is no such person here.  Scam.
