- Susan50| 3 repliesThey are called Pacific Acquisitions and Associates LLC. They are in the same address as used to be Colonial Asset Management, in Mira Loma CA. . They claim we owe a debt and a process server is coming. They offer to settle the $600 plus credit card debt for just $500 if we settle right now!! The bank named is a small hometown bank in South Dakota, I've never been there! The website is new and through GoDaddy.

- Gunnar replies to Susan50| 2 repliesYour caller is a fraud. If you decide to take another of his calls, simply tell him to mail you the required notice of validation. When he refuses, or starts blustering....Case closed. He's a zombie/junk or bogus collector attempting to collect a time-barred, invalid or purely fictitious debt.
Google the FDCPA. Know your rights.
Be Safe. Be Aware.
Gunnar - Susan 50 replies to Gunnar| 1 replyTHANK YOU! We thought so!
- Gunnar replies to Susan 50You're very welcome Susan. Now, spread the knowledge. The more people that are made aware of their rights & who learn of the ploys used by fraudulent/bogus debt collectors, the sooner it will be that we can put an end to practices that have been condoned for far too long.
Live Well.

This guy from Pacific Acquisitions called my place of employment stating that they were going to summons me with a subpoena for a debt that is over 7 years old. He said that if I gave me a down payment then they would delay the "court proceedings"
This company uses threats and scare tactics to get people to pay up on old debts that are past the statute of limitations.
I will be filing a complaint with the FDCPA and state attorney general.- Caller: Pacific Acquisitions
