I was just wondering if this number was really associated with a legitimate real estate business. I got it off craigslist, a questionable website, and it seemed the houses listed were too good to be true as some of the homes were not only nice-looking, but had very reasonable monthly rents, some of which were VERY reasonable and the homes pictured unusually nice for the cost of the monthly note and/or rental fees.

It most likely is a scam. I Did their process. Get their credit specialist and they block the number. I call from a different number and they pick up and tell you to call customer support which is a disconnected number.

I got this number off Craigslist and was directed to Lexington law to repair credit. The person says to give them a call back after registering with Lexington with your i.d. number. Then they want you to fill out a preliminary application for second chance home then sends you a list of homes with no addresses and says someone will be in touch to help view properties. I have noticed a word associated with scams "kindly this" or "kindly that". Which was a huge red flag because I believe it's the same person with multiple scam outlets to temp naive or vulnerable individuals with promises of owning a home. The person who answered the phone had an accent and emails seem to be not proper English. And is sent from rentoownclub.org "support specialist" but actual website does not exist. I was would be very weary of this phone number and their processes.

Has to be a scam. I did a photo search on a house they were trying to rent for m$670 and found it on zillow listed for sale at &370,000.

Im looking all over the internet and it sounds like this guy is a big scammer
