This number called me I did not answer, when I called it back from a secure line it was just dead silence.

Called from 1-604-449-2137; provided a 1-855 call back number; automated call; attempting to gain personal information. I've 'blocked' the number.

Calls every day. No message.

I called the number back after hours. Message says "Strategic Research" and they are a public opinion poll company.

Did not answer! Who does this phone # belong to?

Anybody getting phone calls from this # 855 724 2706 and #855 842 2430 are going to try to get personal information from us. Don't fall victim to these numbers. SCAMMERS

LEGITIMATE phone survey. They provide their full contact info at start of their message as required by the CRTC. Today's call was about Alberta politics.

Thanks to your useful post I was able to whitelist SRA's number.  Of course they called a second time.  I was able to (with great delight) give them garbage data for a very pro-NDP robo-survey on the situation here in Alberta (Gee, my '1' key got stuck a lot).  *Smiles*

Strategic Research:
  1) Talk nicely to the Call Display people and get useful caller identification.
  2) If you can't do that, don't call people on the do-no-call list.  To do otherwise forces us to do what we can: in this case try to wreck your business model by giving you garbage data.

Yes, because like the American one, the Canadian on also does not cover survey calls.

This number has been calling for three days straight, twice a day. They leave no message and I won't waste my time answering random 855 numbers

855 724 2706   called today, July 13, 2018.  I never answer the phone to unknown nos.  Let the voice message kick in and there was no message. Checked the no on the internet and read all your comments ( thanks for all your info) therefore blocked the no.  Thanks.
