Auto warranty scam, this was the call back number that was left in the voicemail I received from a neighbor spoof number

Scam recorded call from local number reads:

“Hi, this is kevin
Your auto warranty specialist
Just want to let you know that weve sentout several notifications to you in the mail
And we havent heard back from you
Just want to leave you a message let you know that based on our records you still do qualify
To get some protection for your vehicle based against the high cost of repairs
If you could give me a call at 1-(855)729-3814 again thats (855)729-3814
This is a limited time offer want to make sure you get all the information you need to make the right decision for you and your family against with your automobile
Thanks alot give me a call back 1-(855)729 thirty eight fourteen
Have a great day”

“Kevin” is good on phone, should stop stealing from people and get customer service job or become a nurse.

Kevin at “Auto Warranty Specialists” - claiming to have mailed several times about warranty availability and wanting to make sure blah blah blah. Caller ID showed local number 434-214-1174 spoofing as 855-729-3814.

I received two calls from this number in three hours. The first time, I deleted the voicemail (which sounded VERY professional, btw), but the second I wrote the information down from the identical recorded audio that was left previously.  I called once and you get someone asking you immediately if you are still driving vehicle X.  I hung up and called back.  It was a different woman each time, asking the same question.  Upon being asked the second time I asked why they were spoofing local numbers (406-601-3123) with an 855 callback number.  She seemed confused when I asked this, so she put me on mute briefly, identifying who she was calling for (my wife) and asked what my question was.  I asked bluntly, "what gave you permission to call this number?"  *click*

Same experience as others .  this is harassment.

If you're looking this up, you got the call. Report these people to the FTC. They have a real callback number, which means they can be found and the FTC can have judgments levied against them for continuing this scam.

I have gotten two calls today alone from another number 301-349-1220 but leaves the same message that was pre-recorded by "Kevin". Just want to link this number as well.

same as everyone...calling from local number 717-708-9433 and asking to call back the 855-729-3814.  I get these  everyday, multiple times................STOP

Identical verbatim message from "Kevin," with heavy sounds of boiler room in the background.  As with all other complainants, CID indicated a local (Dallas metroplex) number, but with the same 855 729 3814 call back.  Same fraudulent retroactive auto "warranty" scam.  Reported as criminal fraud to FTC.

Number shown on the several VM messages was not a good number. The 855# kept hanging up on me as soon as I said I wanted off the call list.

Same exact script as above.  called from the sme 301 number listed above, had the same callback number listed above.  My AT&T cell phone has an app called call protect which detected it as a telemarketer, but they left the same recorded voicemail.

Same exact call as listed above, but they are using multiple numbers to call from. Even if you block each number, they call from another. Definitely will be reporting to FCC. Called from 936-213-1813 & 832-240-5384.

They called from a local number, 541-303-8394, and then left this number.

Multiple calls and also texting. If this was legit - why spoof their number?  Caller is now blocked.
