call my job saying im under investigation to anyone that answer the phone please stop thank you

I just got a call from a Ramon Ortiz saying he came by my house the other day and I wasn't home. Says he will be by again tomorrow and I have to show ID .. left this 855-767-0882 number to settle and he needs a cease and desist order from this company.  One major problem, I don't know what the heck he is talking about  ... I tried looking up the number and nothing can be found.... Spam????

Real Legal Servers do not call you before they serve you papers period. And a Cease & Desist is actually a letter you, according to your rights under the FDCPA laws, can issue to a real and legitimate debt collection agency  about calling you. Extortion Scam Operations often run afoul of the FDCPA laws from the get go..  Some of the ones from other country's have little understanding of our laws or how they work, not to mention how our names work either..   Some scam operations have some understanding, but tend to break them, deliberately misinterpret them and generally try to use (and abuse) them to suit their purposes of scamming you for anything they can scare you out of. Other red flags are wanting you to pay a "reduction" from some over inflated debt and the means of a paying them with a green dot or similar untraceable card..

I have been getting this call from same man where are you located I am in California

These people call you restricted and say they have documents they need to deliver and that you must show ID. I waited for them all day long. The next day they called and said they tried to deliver the "documents" and I wasn't home and they will try again the next day. Next day they never showed up. They called again and said I wasn't home again and they will try a third time "UNLESS" I call their client and get a an "ORDER" to stop.

It took me a while to realize it was a scam. They never came to my house or even attempted. They never verified my address nor do they even have my address and never asked for my address. So this is a bill collector trying to trick you into calling them to "resolve" aka get money. Everything the person says is a lie.

Got a call from Alex Warner basically stating the same thing, that some documents were available and that he was trying to get them to me and that I must present a valid DL and be at my residence or work to sign.  OR an affadavit would be signed stating that I evaded the service.  First of all, no one will call to tell you you are being served with legal papers.  They actually have 2 different numbers that are being left to call back 855-597-0673 and 855-767-0882.  I have no idea who Alex Warner represents and what the nature of the documents area all about!!!  PLEASE STOP CALLING!!!  SUCH A SCAM!!!
