This was a robo call that identified itself as Aetna. I called Aetna as many here have stated, and they confirmed the number is a scam.

Received 3 calls and 3 voicemail messages from this number about my Aetna insurance benefits. Looked here first and then blocked the number. Thanks everyone for the information!

Got a message from Aetna asking me to call them back and to put in the 10 digit number where they left the message. I called and put in the number which they repeated and asked if this was correct which I answered "Yes".  Said they didn't recognize the number.  Put it in again and they said the same thing. I called another number for Aetna I have on my insurance card and Aetna said this was a scam robo call.

I've blocked this # dozens of times and it continues to get thru and leave vms. It is always an Aetna scam using my name . I checked with Aetna and it is not  a # used by them. They ask you to callback and enter 10 digit # they called you at. If you callback and enter # they called they always say it is not recognized. Aetna spent an hour checking it out a couple months ago and said to consider it scammers

Constant call, call back, asked if Waiting on a prescription, then gave speech about importance of taking medication per dr orders, and do u understand? Ridiculous....

Had the same experience as others here including talking to Aetna. Been getting these calls for ~3 months.

Aetna Scammers. Call all the time, for over 6 mos. lv msg that seems legit using my name regarding pharmacy benefits. Say to call back and enter 10 digit # where msg was left to verify who you are. They never recognize the 10 digit #. They prompt for Yes or No reply and could be trying to make a copy of your voice which can be done now. Checked with Aetna months ago and spent over an hour with them while they checked and finally verified it was not a number they use and said to consider it scammers. I block every time and have it in contacts as blocked # but they can still lv same vm every time. Seem to call after activity with CVS or Walgreens pharmacy making it seem legit but it is not. Somehow they know when there is activity and try to suck you in.

Same as everyone else, Robo caller claiming to be Aetna, wanting to talk to me about my pharmacy needs, wanting me to please call back and enter your 10 digit phone number so they "know its you". They even asked for me by name in the Robocall (don't fall for this idiotic attempt to make the call sound official, if they have your phone number, they have your name too) If people would stop falling for this crap, there wouldn't be so much of it. Come on folks, don't reply, don't play along and don't call back, just hang up and delete the number.

Just updating this site as comments are older.  This scam is still going on as I have received several of these calls in March 2024.  Verified with Aetna they do not call from '855' numbers.

I called Aetna, it was not their number

They called and my phone sent them to voicemail.  So they are claiming to be Aetna, and I do have Aetna health insurance, and I did recently receive U.S. mail from Aetna, as well as email, with changes to their prescription drug coverage.   Anyway, I didn't pick up the call.  Does everyone that received the call have Aetna coverage?
