absolutely a scam. i don't have any outstanding student loans. hope nobody falls for this.

I received an email the other day that came from a woman named Klarica Sankale - rather than from the Department of Education. I was told couple years ago that the Department of Education is not going to send an open email, rather they will send a letter in the mail. If you do opt to receive emails from them you have to go online & in to your account to see the actual message. Just out of curiosity I called. The man said that the woman I asked for was on the phone but he could help. He started asking for personal information and I said that I was just calling to learn about what it was that they were offering. I said that my loan has been taken care of and the next thing I knew I was hung up on!

Student loan forgiveness program. Claims that I am pre-qualified for their program, (without even knowing my name) yet I graduated college almost 40 years ago and I never took out any student loans.

Same garbage for me re student loan forgiveness programs.  Got a call from Danielle about my student loan (which I've never had).  I called the number back and spoke to a live rep.  I told the man I'd been contacted numerous times and did not need the information because I didn't have a student loan and wanted to be put on the do not call list.  He said, "I don't care," and hung up on me.  [***]. I've blocked their number.

Just received a call from this number and it said it was from the tax help center to call them immediately to discuss my federal tax forgiveness. I don't have any outstanding taxes. SCAM
