- Akclaims to be Matrix for personal health info
- Caller: Matrix?
- Call type: Text message
- MOS| 2 repliesCalled my unlisted personal cell phone number during the daytime hours of a weekday. When I answered a recorded native English speaking male voice saying his name was, "Dr. Castillo," came on saying I was qualified for a free comprehensive health plan assessment and that if I wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to meet with a licensed physical assistant in home I could contact them at "1-855-771-7988" or visit them on the web at www.matrixforme.com. Then the recorded greeting disconnected.
The phone numbers listed on the provided website do not match the number which called me or the number the recorded greeting left. This reaks of a scam to take advantage of senior citizens. Call ID Displayed "1-855-771-7988" and "18557717988" with no listing information.- Caller: Matrix Medical Network

- Melanie Jones replies to MOSThank you ! We got the same call this morning. The recording dropped the opening caller I'D or company name. The offer was identical, someone would come in the home to do a health assessment. Yup, a scam aimed at senior citizens. My Mom carries insurance that offers the same service and she recently had an accident that requires her to use crutches. Is this incredible timing, or what? Mom is recovering, but a call like this a few days ago might have been taken seriously. Wonder who provides the info to set this stuff up anyway, names and numbers for seniors who might be vulnerable. Makes me mad.
- JB| 1 replyMatrix Medical Doctor sales call to set up a in home medical exam per your health insurance.
Caller: Matrix Medical Doctor- Caller: Matrix Medical Doctor
- Call type: Telemarketer
- BigA replies to JBIt would not be a sales call because they do not charge you. They are paid by the insurance company to contact you and provide the visit. That would also mean that they are not a telemarketer since they are not directly selling anything to you.
- fghuioMedical scam. Recorded caller identified himself as Dr Castillo, chief medical officer with Matrix Medical Network. Tried to sound as though he was affiliated with my health plan, which he never actually identified by name. He said they were partnering with my health plan (NOT!) and providing a comprehensive health assessment at no cost etc. etc. Gave web site URL as Matrixforme.com and telephone as 1-855-771-7988. Total SCAM!!!

- SAS| 1 replyJust got a call from this number - Dr. Castillo from Matrix - I too have Humana Medicare Advantage and Humana does provide a video service called MEDLIVE where you can talk to a physician over the phone and not have to go into your regular provider's office. Please do not fall for this scam call from "Dr. Castillo".
- Caller: Matrix Medical
- BigA replies to SASMatrix Medical is the outsourced company that sends medical health professionals to your home. It is used by several different insurance companies. They all do it. You are not obligated to have these people come into your home but they are aggressive because I don't think they get paid unless they send someone out. It is not a scam call like you seem to think it is, but I do feel that sending someone out to people's homes is intrusive and probably very unnecessary.
- jrk - seattlerobocall offering home health assess. obvious scam on seniors, prob gonna bill medicare a bundle.
- Caller: unknonw scam

- TedI just got a similar call from a "Dr. Castillo." I'm sure it's a scam
- Caller: Matrix Medical
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- ELSame robocall as the rest; however, I don't have medical coverage, so there's no way they're working with "them". A caller who lies about who they are or represent and/or their intent or purpose, ESPECIALLY with that intent being to "send someone into my home to do a 'medical exam'" QUALIFIES AS A SCAMMER in my book.
