Peter Stanton says his office just received a matter that demanded my immediate attention and to call him back before close of business.

I just got a call and from this number. This time he used the name “Paul Stanton” and left a voicemail demanding that I call another number by the end of today.

“This is Peter Stanton. My office has received a matter this morning that the man's your immediate attention. Please give the office a call back before the close of business at 8 5 5- 7 7 1- 8 9 8 4 four again that's 8 5 5 7 7 1- 8 9 8 4…”

I got the same message today

Same call from Joe Stanton, telling to call back at 855-771-8984. I looked up that number and it routes me to an ARSNational, and when I contacted them, they said it could not have been them as their company does not leave messages on phones. They said it could be another ARS, but the number only routes to them.

Same message from Peter Stanton left today on my vm

Got a call from 561-902-9490, yet they (of course), left a voicemail to call them back at a completely different phone number. Message left is as follows:

This is Peter Stanton. My office has received a matter this morning that demands your immediate attention. Please give the office a call back before the close of business at 855-771-8984. Again that's 855-771-8984". He did not state who he was calling for, what time end of business actually was, or even an inkling as to why he was calling. To me, it sounded like an AI recording in which they're trying to make people think he's an actual person.

No way in heck am I calling back a sketchy caller that masks their actual number, and then leaves a funky AI recording. If they are truly legit, they can send me a letter.

Same exact message today

I received this call today 10/6 from the same person but we did not call back.

Two days now in a row I've gotten this message. From number 888-263-9416. Message as follows. Also the inflection and tone of the voice doesn't change. So I'm pretty sure it's a recording too.
This is Peter Stanton. My office has received a matter this morning that demands your immediate attention. Please give the office a call back before the close of business at 8 5 5- 7 7 1- 8 9 8 4 again that's 8 5 5 7 7 1- 8 9 8 4

I received the exact same message, declaring, “This is Peter Stenton, we’ve received a matter this morning requiring your attention by close of business today.” This person never identified what business or organization they were representing, a red flag that it is a scam.
