recording, saying my license key for win os has expired and they have shut down my computer function, call them to restore, etc...  As y ou can see, computer still works.  MS never (NEVER) makes such calls.

This is a bogus call & a scam for the callers to take access remotely  to your computer & to get you to give them your credit card information....BEWARE

robo call from another number left this number for call back. claimed my microsoft key was expired.  scam.  I did not call back to either number.

recorded message stating Emergency, the license for my microsoft key on my computer has expired and my computer will be shut down... then they direct me to call 855-776-6911, immediately... What a SCAM!

This is yet another call from scammers in India pretending to be from Microsoft. I called the number back and asked the guy who answered when he plans to get a real job instead of scamming people and ripping them off and wouldn't his mother be more proud of him if he did? (People in India are supposed to be so reverent toward their parents, which is why I brought up his mother.) He then tried to act all innocent saying the call was from Microsoft saying my license key has expired and this is an "emergency." I said "I know what this call is, it's a scam. Get a real job, stop trying to rip people off."

I received a similar call about an hour ago. These type callers don't normally leave a message but don't worry - I didn't call either of the phone numbers back. I know full well that Microsoft doesn't call their customers about expired license keys, etc.

SCAM CALL. Received a call from 866-933-5467 that said my windows license key expired and I should call this number.

Same as others. Call from one number telling me to call another number due to Microsoft license key expiration. Scam

same thing - heavily indian accent wanted me to 'windows key R then m"  OF COURSE, NOTHING HAPPENED.  tHE LAST TIME THEY WERE TRYING TO GET PEOPLE TO ENTER 'START.COM' WHICH WOULD GIVE THEM COMPLETE ACCESS TO THE COMPUTER.  Of course, the windows license NEVER 'expires'.

Just received a female robo call claiming to be Microsoft about license key. About ten days ago also received an email about Microsoft shutdown. I deleted both. SCAM.

Called to say it was an "emergency" and that my Microsoft key for my computer has expired. I only have a work laptop that is serviced by my job, so it was obvious this was some sort of scam.

This one was actually funny, as the "emergency message" was rendered via text to speech by a female voice that sounded like she was on drugs.  Also, got the same call about two weeks ago and have been happily using my Microsoft apps since.  Amazingly moronic scam.

Received same call on answering machine.  Almost funny listening to these messages, but annoying and I really hope no one falls for these scams.
